Welcome to the Brock Recreation Guide for the Fall and Winter season of 2023/2024. As you flip through the pages you will find a variety of multi-season recreational activities for residents and visitors alike.
Whether you want to learn new skills, reach new fitness goals, or simply have fun and meet people there's truly something for everyone. Create new family memories at one of our many events or festivals. Stroll along the picturesque shorelines on Lake Simcoe or hike one of our many beautiful trails

There are Agricultural and Craft Exhibits as well as food choices for everyone! It wouldn't be the Sunderland Fair without the ever popular Demolition Derby. Programs
Parents, Tots and Seniors
Our drop-in Parents tots and seniors skate offers a slower paced leisurely skate, which provides a safe environment. This is a great way to introduce your child to skating.
Public Skating
Our drop-in public skating program is a leisurely skate for all ages. This is a great way to spend time with family and friends while being active.
Shinny Hockey
Drop-in shinny hockey is a great way to play a game of pick-up hockey with friends and family. You are required to wear full equipment during shinny hockey.
Adult - Ages 18+
Youth - Ages 12-17
Stick & Puck
Our stick and puck drop-in session is a great way for children to practice stick handling and shooting skills. You must wear a helmet during all stick and puck sessions. Full equipment isn't necessary.
Drop-in Figure Skating
Drop in Figure skating is an affordable opportunity for Figure skaters to access additional practice ice time. Skaters must be a Skate Canada member.
Senior Skate
Senior Skate is designed for participants ages 50+ to participate in a leisurely skate in a seniors-only environment. This skate is not supervised. Helmets are strongly recommended.
Admission Fees
$3 for public skating (5 years of age and older)
$10 family rate for public skating (5 members per family)
$5 for Stick & Puck and Shinny Hockey
$2 for Parents and Tots and Seniors (55+) skates - Kids 4 & under are free
$5 for Drop-In Figure Skating

Variety Camp (Ages 7-12)
Join us for an action-packed week of games and activities geared towards campers ages 7-12. Activities will include indoor and outdoor play, DIY craft projects, science experiments and more! Campers will also have the opportunity for an optional 1 hour of skating each day.
Mites Camp (Ages 4-6)
$31 per day
Campers ages 4-6 will participate in a variety of fun filled activities throughout t week. Each day of camp will include arts & crafts, science experiments, camp games, outdoor play, and additional indoor activities to keep campers engaged and entertained all day long! Campers will also have the opportunity for an optional 1 hour of skating each day
Registration opens November 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Limited spaces available. Register early to avoid disappointment.
