The natural place to do business

The natural place to do business Our unique venue is located just off junction 31 on the M6 and is floating on a lake inside a 250-acre nature reserve, it is full of wildlife and you will be able to enjoy your day connected to nature.

We have ample parking for both cars and buses which is complimentary for all attendees. Our conference centre is a fantastic facility. Perched on the corner of our floating Visitor Village, it has incredible views out over our reserve and the lakes and, with its floor to ceiling windows you get a wonderful supply of natural light. Our entire Village has free WIFI and our conference centre has its own shared entrance lobby / breakout area that functions as a refreshments space. This can be used free of charge as part of your room hire for reception tables, holding area, breakout zone or small exhibitions.

We have a catering team on site who can provide for all of your catering requirements from light lunches to full day conferences.

Our education and conservation professionals are able to offer a host of team building, outdoor nature activities, and wildlife education talks.

Brockholes is owned and managed by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust. Everything we do, including hosting events such as yours, is funding the maintenance of our reserves, along with ensuring we care for local wildlife and green spaces to allow everyone the chance of a wilder future.

Catering Let’s be honest, this is the part of the day everyone looks forward to the most! It’s the first thing people get asked when they get back to the office “what was the food like” – well, we promise not to disappoint.

Our Kitchen team are always keeping their eyes open for what’s in season and what’s available locally. As you would expect, our team are equally conscious about the environment and make sure the menus change with the season to ensure the food you are eating has not travelled half way around the world to get to your plate. This also allows us to ensure that if you are a repeat booker or have a long run we can keep the menu fresh for you and your delegates.
