Sponsor Type

The school is happy to work with both financial sponsors and sponsors offering in-kind support. When in-kind sponsorship is agreed, the commercial value of the products or services a company is providing is considered as equivalent to a financial donation of the same amount.

Not all the benefits detailed will be relevant for every event (i.e. when an opening speech is not planned). However, this package outlines clear sponsorship levels, which offer attractive proposals for all types of businesses, large or small. By offering multiple sponsorship levels, the school enables participation at various financial capacities, strengthening partnerships for future events.

Sponsor Management

Each sponsor will be given individualised attention throughout the sponsorship partnership

A detailed agreement in writing will be drawn up between the school and the sponsor, confirming details of the sponsorship, benefits to the sponsor as well as responsibilities for each party

A consistent policy will be applied so that all parties are clear on the details of the agreed partnership

Following the event, sponsor feedback will be collated via a digital form, personal call, or letter to strengthen relationships and refine future sponsorship opportunities

Right of Refusal

External sponsors will be considered on a case-by-case basis and the school has the right to refuse a sponsor should their ethos, values, products or suggested activities not align with the value and culture of the BSM community

Particular sensitivity is necessary in light of the age range and the school’s responsibility for children who can be easily influenced

For example, companies offering food or drink products will be considered carefully given the healthy eating values that the school promotes

This package includes a separate annex detailing company sectors, services and profiles which are unlikely to align with BSM’s ethos

Sponsorship from certain sectors may require careful consideration to ensure alignment with school values

The BSM may respectfully decline sponsorship opportunities that do not reflect the school’s values, culture, or commitment to the wellbeing of its students, particularly in view of their age and susceptibility to influence.

In keeping with BSM’s values, sponsorship from the following types of companies may be declined:
