Banish Blemishes Our guide to exfoliation for long lasting results when it comes to the clarity and softness of the skin

It’s a new year and for some of you perhaps it’s time for a new facial routine. If you’re a young adult and you find that you still have blemishes, which is fairly common, then it’s time to tackle the issue head on, and whilst most of you already know about tools such as the Clarisonic, it’s important that you to understand which products to use alongside it. Acne comedones develop in the hair follicles of the skin from trapped oil and dead skin cells. ting clear skin is easily achievable for many people, but if you find it especially difficult to clear up those blemishes we’d recommend you seek the advice of a qualified dermatologist. Exfoliation is something that all of our Editors swear by, as it’s the key to healthy, rejuvinated skin. Not only does it increase and encourage blood circulation, it also buffs away those dead skin cells which leave the face looking tired and dull. Repeated use of a good exfoliant over a period of 1-2 months for those with mild hyperpigmentation will leave the skin looking looking clear and feeling soft. For those of you with slightly more to worry about, we’d recommend you exfoliate twice daily for 2-3 months instead, in order to achieve the same results.
