SURE TO APPEAL TO THE URBAN “YOOF” demographic, the new Stealth Fighter modular helmet’s vaguely militaristic styling cues create a distinctive visual identity, whichever of the configurations it is in. The core jet helmet has a lightweight ECE 22.06 shell in two sizes, with a multidensity EPS liner in five sizes. There’s a drop-down sun visor and large top vents leading to a rear exhaust port. Onto this base configuration, users can clip a removable chin bar and motocross-style peak to make a full-face lid. Keis bodywarmer IDEAL FOR THE YEAR-ROUND biker, Keis’ new heated mid-layer bodywarmer has been redesigned from the ground up to incorporate UltraFlex technology. The micro carbon fibre heating panels carry across from the previous version, but they are now encased in an outer shell made from UltraFlex material which provides four-way stretch, moulding the garment for a snug fit without restricting movement. The Ultraflex fabric is created from a combination of 85% Chinlon and 15% Spandex, which are commonly used in activewear. Chinlon is a synthetic, lightweight material known for its strength and durability which combines a smooth texture with an ability to wick away moisture. The addition of Spandex provides the required elasticity. The carbon heating panels are located in the chest, back, and collar, produce 41W (3.4A) of heating power – almost three times more than previous models – and are designed to be powered direct from the bike’s battery using the supplied wiring loom. Dainese racing suits NEW FOR THE 2024 SEASON, DAINESE HAS LAUNCHED A TRIO of new one-piece race suits. The Mugello 3 D-Air, Misano 3 D-Air and Misano 3 D-Air WMN are all fitted with the new D-Air Racing Shield 3X system, which has switchable modes for track or road and uses microfilament technology that allows up to three airbag activations before the bag itself has to be replaced. The suits are said to be lightweight, with the Mugello in particular being 20% lighter than any airbag-equipped opposition. All three feature a “pentaxial elastic system” on the rear, which provides five-way stretch for a better fit, and the collar is a new Veloce Racing Neck design which reduces pressure on the neck. Externally mounted slide plates on the shoulders, elbows and knees are made of aluminium on the Misano suits, but the Mugello gets lightweight titanium versions. Other features of the suits include a new slider replacement system that keeps the sliders in the correct position, a washable liner and an ankle design that allows the suit to be worn either over or under boots, depending on preference.
