General Information & Sale Notes DARD RESTRICTIONS All vehicles must be disinfected thoroughly before arrival at the market. This applies to both vendors and purchasers. Any vehicles not properly cleansed will not be allowed entry into the market. MOVEMENT LICENCE This is an export sale. All vendors must have a veterinary service support certificate and an owner’s declaration from their local DVO as well as the normal self written movement licence. These will be required for inspection on arrival at Dungannon Mart. ARRIVAL Sheep may arrive from 7.00 am. Any prior arrangements can be made with Dungannon Mart. INSPECTION All sheep will be inspected by the Society's Official Inspector before being allowed forward for sale. All sheep must have been paint branded with their lot number prior to inspection. Inspection will be from 7.00am-9.00 am METHOD OF SALE All sheep will be sold in guineas. CONDITIONS OF SALE All sheep will be sold subject to the Conditions of Sale of the British Charollais Sheep Society and to the Auctioneer's General Conditions of Sale, which are available in the Auctioneer's office. PEDIGREE CERTIFICATES Pedigree certificates relating to the sale will be available from the Auctioneer's office on the day of the sale. PEDIGREE STATUS FOR MALES Would purchasers please note that there are two different status of registration for Charollais rams, Full Pedigree and Birth Notified. All full pedigree rams are marked as such in the catalogue and have been upgraded by the breeder, all other rams have notified status only. No pedigree certificates are issued for notified rams and these rams are not eligible for use within a pedigree flock until they are upgraded to full pedigree status. If full pedigree status is required then a fee of £20.00 plus VAT is payable to the Society. Sheep may arrive earlier by prior arrangement with Dungannon Mart Inspection of sheep on arrival at the saleyard Sheep not approved or arriving after the conclusion of inspection will not be eligible for the show or sale and must be removed from the centre. All sheep must have lot numbers marked on their backs before being admitted to the premises. No sheep to be taken to penning without submission to inspection. Rejected sheep must not be penned and should be returned to trailers. Sheep having passed inspection must not be removed from the premises until after the sale. Auction in catalogue order. NB.
