Brightwater Research Centre Brightwater recognises the important role that research plays in improving the lives of our clients, as well as the broader community. The Brightwater Research Centre is a hub of discovery and innovation, influencing operations across our own services, and in the wider community. Our research underpins everything we do by providing evidence and paths to best practice. The foundation of our Research Centre is built on shared ideas, expertise, passion and a commitment to making a difference. We strive to promote a research culture that reflects Brightwater’s Mission; one that is informed by the knowledge and experience of clients, staff and collaborators, and is underpinned by evidence that can be translated into real-world outcomes through practice, policies and processes. While the role of research is to produce new knowledge and understanding and to build on (or challenge) previous knowledge, it is important that it can then lead to improved understandings, benefits and translation into practice.
