From The Principal’s Desk “All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson Change is inevitable and one who accepts change can only survive. Educational sector is undergoing through a Paradigm shift. In this era where the student is an individual, is a person with self-respect, sensitivity, responsibility and compassion. We need to recognize them, appreciate them for the efforts they make; they look for a word of motivation and long for an appreciation, thus Rays is to be viewed as the launch pad for the children's creative urges to blossom naturally. Patience, will power, determination, courage and confidence are the sterling qualities of the mind which are indispensable in the struggle of life. This has been revealed by our students to achieve success in the various facets of life. Children are the most creative beings on earth, if only we could provide channels for that creativity to blossom…….. School publications are windows to the activities of the school. Rays provide a panoramic view of the cultural, academic, sports and literary activities & achievements of the school during ongoing academic year. This season the students have shown their propensity towards sports. I offer my heartiest congratulations to the students who have got selected for Block, District, Zone and State level events in Archery, Athletics, Carrom, Football, Cricket, Table Tennis etc. The school attains its eminence through the achievement of the children. Students participated in various cultural events and brought laurels to the school. The students participated in CBSE Regional level science exhibition and showed their flair towards science and technology. Set the mind of the young ones free, let they roam in the realm of imagination and find a creative world of their own where they will be generating their own ideas and learn to spread their wings and sky will be the limit. “Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.” Happy Reading. Update@ Brighton International School Sparkles - The Annual Festival @ Brighton Sparkles Brighton’s annual function was celebrated with great zest, spirit and enthusiasm. The entire event was woven around the grand theme of RASAS (Emotions). It was brought to life beautifully by the students under the able guidance of members of the staff. Shri Himanshu Dwivedi (Chief Editor, Haribhoomi Group) was the chief guest for the event. He spoke about how each one of us through our individual effort can bring about a positive change in our country. The glittering event started with a presentation to Lord Ganesha and was wrapped up by the Brighton theme song. In between, it was interspersed with programs connoting emotions ranging from laughter to sorrow. Our respected Principal Mrs Jayshree Nair also presented the annual report for the academic year 2012-13. The event was heavily attended by parents and other patrons of Brighton International School.
