Q - What is grass-fed, and

grass-finished beef? A -Our beef is all grass, all the time. Our animals are raised on rangeland and selected beef steers are brought in to finish with 8+ weeks on our irrigated pastures. We do supplement with alfalfa during the winter. Our rangeland is a variety of native feeds and our pastures have a diverse selection of overcrops and grasses.

Q - What are the advan-

tages of consuming this type of beef? A -The real advantage is long term; we are in the business of healing the land and storing carbon from our atmosphere to a more digestible location the soil. We are all carbon creatures, our grassland thrive off carbon and it heals the desertification of rangelands that have been overgrazed in the past. Next to the phytoplankton in the oceans, our trees and open plains are a huge source of oxygen! We are focused on creating a better desert than we received in 1966; for the wildlife, the planet and our community. The bonus is we have plenty of excess animals to help feed families! We have had many clients begin healing their gut, autoimmune diseases, cholesterol and aches and pains with our rich beef high in omega 3’s & 6’s. Complimentary bones make for a delicious bone broth that heals you from the inside out.

located? A - We are located 30 miles north of the town of Wickenburg, off the US 22

Q - How much weight is a Ryan Barteau 93 towards Kingman. We do not have a store on site as we are a real working cattle ranch, running off solar power completely.

Q - How long have you been

doing this? A - I, Savannah Barteau, have been on the ranch with my husband for 6 years. Before this, I was a waitress in Phoenix and a college drop-out. My husband, Ryan Barteau has been on the ranch since he was 5, returning with his mother Kimberley Knight after she was working on a ranch in Texas. Kimberley took over after her father, Phil Knight, passed away. All in all, Phil bought Date Creek in 1966. Phil began the holistic planned grazing at Date Creek in the 1980’s and from there we are 3 generations strong. (Working on gen. 4)

“Quarter” order? A - On average we are 100110lbs per quarter. Sometimes more, sometimes less. You will only be charged 8.60/ pound of packaged weight. You do not need to worry about process, packing or delivery fee’s. That is all included.

you use on the ranch? A - We have one rescue Mustang brought to us from Amanda Marsh, named Archie. We have 5 others who are all awesome, working quarter horses. One ex-cutting horse and a little gal we mostly use for packing.

Q - How do you keep them
