SUGERHOLIC -
SITE
The window scape project give us freedom to choose a site in 老街 and I found that there is a coffee shop that has potential to have a good design because of the landscape and also the view that they give.
So I choose the place Sugerholic as my case and started to analyse everything about the place like size, possibility, the used space, human bihavior, etc.
SITE
— Roxborough House, 1997
DIFFERENT PLACE = DIFFERENT VIEW
The site has a unique landscape and create a different level when you enter the coffee shop. In the real site there is about 3 different level high and it creates a different feeling when you are in that place. When you are in a higher place you can see the view and feel public. but when you are lower you feel more private but you can not really see the view.

PROGRESSIVE TRANSFORMATION MODEL
Maintaining the column and changing the wall form
Started to play with more opening like windows and door
Trying to make a different height inside the building to create boundaries
Final transformation a combination of all of the previous one
Semi final model that is make in the scale of 1/50 so the measurement is correct when it comes to the real final model. This process is done to prevent un clean cut in the process of making the final model

Anupuma Kundoo is the architecture of the wall house. Wall house is inspired by the nature and the house it self have many opening that make a transparency. Wall house also have a big area that united the space together. Even though the main idea is simple but there is some complex rule in her building that makes it unique than the other building.

She was awarded the Vastu Shilpa Foundation Fellowship in 1996 for her thesis on "Urban Eco-Community: Design and Analysis for Sustainability". She got her doctoral degree from the Technical University of Berlin in 2008. She worked here from middle of 1990 till 2002.
HOUSE DETAIL
Wall house is a second house owned by Kundoo. The house is designed to have a private space while still having a relationship with nature, where boundaries between inside and outside dissolved. Kundoo make this house more unconventional and use many different thing to explore all possibilities. It has a weight of 17m and length of 25m .

WALL HOUSE
Final Model
The concept of this design is fluidity that makes the space feel big and continues. The model also use different material to have different transparency like the wall that have 3 system that is open, semi open, and close. the L shape corridor also help connect the two wall together so the building is united into one building.
