Witches, monsters and vampires will soon be roaming around Discovery Bay Elementary with princesses, superheroes and cartoon characters, as the school hosts its annual BOOville Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 2 to 6 p.m. This year’s festival includes costume contests, a pumpkin decorating contest, farm animals, a DJ, homemade games, a cakewalk, inflatables, delicious food and more. “Everyone is welcome to attend,” said Discovery Bay Elementary PTA President Valerie Umana. “Wear your costumes, come and have some fun!” According to Umana, the haunted house will take place in the elementary school’s gym. “It’s a family-fun maze kids can walk through that isn’t too scary, but is full of Halloween fun,” she said.
