By 2017, their project had blossomed into GoodLot Farmstead Brewing Co , growing 8 hop varieties with eco-friendly practices They aim to lead in sustainability, brewing in an eco-renovated barn powered by solar energy, striving to sequester more green energy than they consume. Their efforts have earned recognition, including the 2023 Canadian Brewers Choice Award for Sustainability Initiative of the Year, the 2023 Credit Valley Conservation Award for Corporate Leadership in Sustainability, and the 2023 Meridian Small Business BIG Impact First Place for Environmental Stewardship.
