Play Areas and Playing Fields Bracknell Town Council manages over 30 play areas & playing fields, offering a wide range of facilities including play equipment, teenage meeting places, skateboard parks, paddling pools, sports fields and other sports facilities. At the majority of locations there is an extensive range of play equipment offering exciting challenges suitable for children of all ages. At some of the Town Council’s play areas there is equipment suitable for children with disabilities and all the Town Council’s play areas and playing fields are well maintained. Listed below are details of all the Town Council’s play areas and playing fields. Children’s play areas suitable for all ages, climbing rocks, hard ball games area for football and basketball, grass pitches for football, angling (permits available from Brooke House).

Full size synthetic pitch with floodlighting, suitable for football and hockey. Kiosk serving drinks and light refreshments.

Football

Grass pitches are available at locations throughout the Town during the winter football season. Most senior sites have changing facilities and are booked on a seasonal basis in conjunction with the leagues which operate in the area. The synthetic pitches at Birch Hill and Great Hollands are available for winter training, as are some specific grassed areas during the summer

A grass wicket is available at Great Hollands Recreation Ground.

Junior Cricket may be arranged in discussion with the Town Council.
