I’d like residents here to enjoy the regeneration, and will speak up for charity shops and lower-priced stores returning to our town centre.

Since I live and work in Bullbrook I share your concerns - little affordable accommodation for our young people, the level of lighting provided by the new LED lights, the rat-runs and speeding, parking, the flooded underpass, and safeguarding of our green spaces. A pro-active Councillor will raise these issues time and time again until they are resolved.

For example, in Great Hollands, Labour’s Cllr Temperton undertook a ward inspection with street lighting engineers to see which areas needed brighter lighting, taller poles or double-headed lamps; and I will show this same commitment to our community here in Bullbrook.

Cllr Bidwell recently voted for a carbonzero Town Council and I would also be proud to join him in this work. Your concerns are mine too - I will consult, listen and keep you informed. You will see me about so please share your thoughts. It would be an honour to represent you and our ward.

Bracknell Labour governed the Town Council several times. We: • Set up the TV Licence Grant scheme to help the over 65s and low-income disabled.

• Funded outreach Youth Workers working with young people at the play areas.

• Minimised the use of herbicides and pesticides on all the play areas - this policy is still used today.

• Set up the funding support to enable South Hill Park to become an Arts Centre, and was involved in the original planning for the Wilde Theatre.

• Provided the public bowling green at Great Hollands.

• Twinned Bracknell with Opladen, now Leverkusen.



''YOUNG ADULTS NEED A FIRST HOME THEY CAN AFFORD'' It's important for their self-worth and fewer cars per household will ease parking pressures.



''PARKING PERMITS INTRODUCED AS FREE SHOULD REMAIN FREE'' Permits introduced to protect residents' spaces from the Lexicon workforce should remain free.



''NEW LED STREET LIGHTS SEEMS DARKER THAN THE ONES BEFORE'' Inadequate street lighting poses a safety issue.

Residents want to know if they will be turned up.
