Jigsaw Building

News

The final piece of the puzzle Work on the Jigsaw build project at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital is well underway with first phase preparation work starting in October. This is the first step in providing brand new purpose-built cancer and blood disorder and women’s health facilities for local patients. This two floor building, which will be built at the rear of the hospital between the Eye Unit and the Derwent Suite (Orthopaedics), will see new facilities for oncology and haematology patients on one floor while the women’s health unit will occupy the other. It will be of huge benefit to the entire community for years to come. The Jigsaw building is funded through donations and fundraising from two Jigsaw appeals; cancer and blood disorders and women’s health, plus NHS investment.

We are still fundraising for equipment for both units. If you would like to donate money or if you have any questions about the build or the new facilities please get in touch Email: charity@rbch.nhs.uk or write to: Charity Office Bournemouth Hospital Charity Royal Bournemouth Hospital Castle Lane East Bournemouth BH7 7DW or call: 01202 704060
