What is the core business of your company? Seacon Logistics is a leading logistics service provider in terms of multimodal chain management. Our company coordinates cargo and information flows on a global basis and delivers tailormade logistics solutions. In cooperation with our overseas partners we offer total logistics services, such as worldwide overseas transport, warehousing and added value services, European distribution and supply chain solutions. Our affiliates are located near inland terminals that are connected by water, rail and road to the seaports. Thanks to these strategically located hubs, we can transport seacontainers rapidly, cost-effectively and sustainably to all important destinations worldwide.

How does your company work cross borders? Distances fade away if goods flows are handled quickly and efficiently. That requires knowledge, attention to detail and the use of the right resources and techniques. We handle overseas logistics by air and by sea for both import and

export worldwide. Our advanced tracking and tracing systems allow Seacon to work rapidly, efficiently and completely transparently. In cooperation with our overseas network of partners we are able to control transport flows to and from any destination in the world.

What are your company’s ambitions? Our group currently serves a large number of international customers worldwide. These customers require high quality services and are a contiuous motivation for Seacon Logistics to provide the highest level of service. Reliability, innovation and long term investments are aspects we consider important in assisting our customers to optimise their business performance. Our ambition is to develop this role further.

How international is the Limburg Region in your opinion? Limburg Region is strategically located in the European gateway connecting the main international seaports of

Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Antwerp with the European hinterland. Within a circle of 150 kilometers there are around 40 million consumers and this region represents the economic centre of Europe. Limburg has always had an international orientation and it is not for nothing that it is sometimes referred to as the ‘Balcony of Europe’.

What is your view of TEFAF? TEFAF is recognized as the undisputed ‘grande dame’ of arts fairs and as such has attracted through the years a growing number of participants. It is an annual rendezvous for collectors and connaisseurs from all over the world.
