Introduction

Welcome to the festive issue of borderevents magazine covering two busy months November and December. We have a wonderful selection of seasonal activities and festive fun for you to enjoy. Stuck for a Christmas present idea, then why not buy tickets for a local event? See page 34 for box office listings. Are you looking to promote an event or advertise your business in 2019? Then now is the time to get in touch - we will be more than happy to have a chat and discuss some options to enable you to be seen by locals AND visitors throughout the Scottish Borders, North Northumberland and surrounding areas. We would also just like to take this opportunity to wish you, our readers, along with our advertisers, event organisers, magazine stockists and distribution team a very Merry Christmas! We will be back in the New year with more ideas on where to go, things to do and places to see.

A bit about the author: or Twitter @givebloodscot After relocating to the Scottish Borders from West Yorkshire in 2012 I began writing my first novel. Scotland was a true inspiration for me and I fell head over heels in love with the scenery so it was only natural that my stories should be based here. Call 0845 90 90 999 Coldingham captured my heart on my very first visit and over time the story that appears in What Becomes of the Broken Hearted began to take shape. Now when we spend time at the picturesque bay I can imagine my characters coming to life before me and going about their daily routines. I love to visit the settings of my stories as I feel it helps me to create realism in the descriptions even though the characters are entirely fictional. I sincerely hope that readers who visit the seaside cove virtually through my book adore the place as much as I do . Lisa Hobman, Bestselling Contemporary Romance Author ~ www.lisajhobman.com
