Specifications

Methodology and approach to be used.

1. Preparation and Planning

• The MONOSET materials are assembled and palleted according to the unit-vise.

• Client to verify the setting out and provide clearance for K.U.S First erection process.

• Engineer from K.U.S will inspect the concrete surface before starting the erection work.

• A designated engineer from K.U.S will attend to the sorting of the materials and placing in the erection area using the support of labors and tower crane.

2. Assembly of Formwork

• Erect vertical and horizontal support members (stanchions, walers, and struts) according to the formwork design.

• Install aluminum panels onto the support framework, ensuring proper alignment and connection.

• Secure formwork joints using clamps or connectors provided by K.U.S

• Verify formwork stability and alignment before proceeding to the next stage.

3. Surface Preparation

• Clean formwork surfaces to remove any debris or contaminants.

• Apply form release agent or formwork lubricant to facilitate easy removal of the formwork after concrete curing.

4. Concrete Pouring

• Pour concrete into the formwork systematically, starting from the lowest point and progressing upwards.

• Use appropriate vibration techniques to ensure proper compaction and eliminate air pockets.

• Monitor concrete placement to prevent segregation and achieve uniform distribution.

5. Curing

• Maintain optimal curing conditions, such as temperature and moisture, to promote concrete strength development.

• Follow recommended curing durations specified by concrete mix design or project specifications.

6. Formwork Removal

• Wait for the concrete to achieve sufficient strength before removing the formwork. This typically ranges from 24 to 72 hours, depending on the concrete mix and environmental conditions.

• Loosen and remove formwork components carefully to avoid damaging the concrete surface.

• Inspect the concrete for any defects or imperfections and address them as necessary.

7. Finishing

• Perform any required finishing operations, such as surface smoothing, edge profiling, or joint sealing.

• Install additional structural elements or architectural features as specified in the project design.

8. Safety and Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations throughout the construction process, including fall protection, proper equipment use, and hazard mitigation.

• Conduct quality inspections to verify the integrity of the formwork, concrete structure, and finished surfaces.

• Document construction activities and record any deviations from the original plan for future reference and quality control purposes.

Below is our commercial proposal, outlining the detailed financial aspects and value propositions for your consideration. This proposal reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that align with your business objectives.

Rates

General Remarks

• The above quantities are based on given drawing.

• Billing quantities will be delivered if quantities are changed.

• Safety tools, safety materials and other relevant safety requirement shall be provided by Exove Contracting Services Pvt Ltd.

• The rental for the G.I Pipes is applicable during the erection period, dismantle & Function dates.

• Supervisor and two number of labour will allocate for function dates (1 day).

• If the dismantling start date continue more than 1 day after the function, Supervisor and labour charges need to claim from client (Day Rate is LKR 5,500.00).

• Rental day calculation starts on material delivery and ends on total dismantling date. Rental rate per day is LKR 6,868.00.

A. Payment Terms

i. 20% advance during the confirmation

B. Technical Files

KUS shall provide the following Technical Files for the scope mentioned above as per mutually agreed schedule.

i. Shell plan

ii. Shop drawings

iii. List of materials

iv. Tools & Accessories list

C. Site Support.

I. A designated Formwork Engineer from K.U.S will be appointed throughout 4th Floor to 29th.

II. Initial site supervision by K.U.S for limited period for 2 pour cycles or 6 weeks, which one is earlier.

Normal Working hours: 8 hours per day through 5 days a week, overtime charges will be applicable after this.

D. Material Delivery

I. All new materials will be supplied to the customer.

II. Customs clearance can be done by K.U.S and the prices are to be discussed

E. Delivery Terms:

I. The schedule of procurement of formwork with all accessories complete delivered at designated place. Total supply will be targeted to complete within 90 - 120 days from the date of finalization of shell drawings.

* Actual delivery period will be confirmed at the time of order acceptance.

F. Payment Terms

I. Payment calculation shall be made to that extent of Formwork area for which design approval is taken. 100% LC

G. Loading and Unloading

I. Loading, unloading & shifting of material at site by Client.

II. Segregation space should be concreted to maintain material quality.

H. Not included in the Quotation.

1. MONOSET General Conditions

a. Shell plan should be duly approved by client (signed by structural & architectural consultant) before proceeding for fabrication.

b. The Client shall be responsible for any delay in the supply of KUS Formwork should design changes be received after the receiving of the ‘signed off’ shell plan.

c. Formwork that has been manufactured, due to late design changes by the client, shall be charged as ‘Redundant formwork’ at the full formwork rate.

d. Some area which is difficult to be figured with Aluminum formwork shall be covered with M/S materials and the M/S price shall be reflected at the supply price. But the quantity and area shall be approved by client before proceeding for fabrication.

A. General Terms and Conditions

Scope of Application

a) The sale of formwork, formwork elements accessories and other parts as specified in part B

b) For the technical processing (engineer and static services) and the briefing of clients as specified in part C

A separate rental contract will be provided with K.U.S terms and conditions.

Conclusion of the contract

Contract made by K.U.S are subject to confirmation. A contract shall only exist when K.U.S has issued a written order confirmation. The scope of services performed by K.U.S will be determined by the written order confirmation and annexes.

General

The client must make the following available for K.U.S use, free of charge: the necessary storage and working space on the construction site, access routes and connecting lines, cranes and hoisting devices, tools and water and energy connections. The client shall bear the cost for such provisions.

Miscellaneous

All disputes arising from the contractual relationship shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction K.U.S reserves the right to bring legal action at the purchaser’s own legal place of jurisdiction.

B. Sale

1.0 Dates and deadlines

1.1 All specified delivery dates or deadlines are to be considered as approximations. If a delay in delivery does occur, the purchaser shall not be entitled to refuse delivery of the material.

1.2 Deliveries will only commence after the complete clarification of all details of performance.

1.3 Dates and deadlines will not commence before the presentation of all necessary official credentials and authorizations by the purchaser and/or the settlement of any down payments.

1.4 Orders are accepted and executed subject to “Force Majeure” circumstances and any other such hindrances which are outside of control. The dates and deadlines may be postponed or partially or wholly cancelled according to their effects. These includes, but are not limited to: war, riots, walkouts, strikes, lockouts, Government Orders or Bans, energy and transport difficulties as well as production malfunctions etc.

1.5 K.U.S will not be held liable for any damages or compensation resulting from delivery postponement or cancellation.

2.0 Transfer of risk

2.1 The risk and insurance responsibility for the objects to be delivered is transferred to the purchaser at the time when the objects are transferred to the shipper or freight carrier or the purchaser itself, even if the delivery is prepaid.

2.2 Method of delivery and packaging can be determined by K.U.S.

2.3 The cost of delivery (including tolls) and packaging is to the carried by the purchaser.

3.0 Receipt

3.1 The delivery should be accepted by the purchaser, even if there are minor defects.

3.2 Partial deliveries are permissible.

3.3 The service is viewed as having been performed if the service item corresponds to the contractual conditions, or, if the service is delayed or made impossible by the purchaser, if the seller issues notification that it is ready to perform the service.

4.0 Acceptance

4.1 On request, a record should be kept of the acceptance.

4.2 In the case of an express agreement with regard to acceptance, the purchaser must accept the service item at K.U.S’s storage facility or plant.

Prices

Prices for material are CIF Colombo Basis.

If there is an increase in the price of materials or raw materials, wages and salaries and production costs or due to Government control or action between the completion of the contract and the delivery, K.U.S is entitled to increase the agreed prices accordingly bearing in mind any possible decreases of prices in other categories. On request, K.U.S must provide evidence of any price increases to the purchaser.

Retention of Title

Risk of the delivered items

Risk of damage to or loss of the Delivered Items shall pass to the Customer:

4.2.1 In the case of items to be delivered at K.U.S’s premises, at the time when K.U.S notifies the customer that the items are available for collection; or

4.2.2 In the case of Items to be delivered otherwise than at K.U.S’s Premises, at the time of delivery or, if the customer fails to take delivery of the delivered items, the time when K.U.S has tendered delivery of the items.

Retention of Title

4.2.3 Notwithstanding delivery of and the passing of risk in the Delivered Items to the customer, the property in the Delivered Items shall not pass to the customer until K.U.S has received in cash or cleared funds for payment in full of the price of the Delivered Items sold by K.U.S to the customer. For the avoidance of doubt, the allocation of individual receivables to an ongoing invoice or adding to an account and the recognition of these does not remove the retention of title.

Fiduciary basis as Bailee

4.2.4 Until such time as the property in the Delivered Items passes to the customer, the customer shall hold the Delivered Items and each of them on a fiduciary basis as Bailee for K.U.S.

4.2.5 Notwithstanding that the Delivered items (or any of them) remain the property of K.U.S, if the customer sells or uses the Delivered items in the ordinary course of the customer’s business at full market value; it shall be for the account of K.U.S. Any such sale or dealing shall be a sale or use of K.U.S property by the customer on the customer’s own behalf and the customer shall deal as principal when making such sales or dealings. Until property in the Delivered Items passes from K.U.S to the customer the entire proceeds of sale or otherwise of the Delivered Items shall be held in trust for K.U.S and shall not be mixed with other money or paid into any overdrawn bank account and shall be at all material times identified as K.U.S money.

Non-Payment of a Payment Obligation

If the purchaser falls into arrears and no progress is made within a period of two weeks, K.U.S is entitled demand payment for all receivables.

If the purchaser defaults in paying any outstanding sums, K.U.S is entitled to either suspend or cancel all further deliveries towards the specific order or any other outstanding deliveries or services resulting from the business relationship with the purchaser until payment is made in full.

If K.U.S withdraws from the contract as a result of the non-fulfillment of a payment obligation or as a duty violation by the purchaser, or if delivered products are returned for other reasons resulting from the retention of title, the purchaser must pay the value of the surrender for the time when it was in possession in the form of an appropriate compensation for use.

Sub – sale

4.2.5 Notwithstanding that the Delivered items (or any of them) remain the property of K.U.S, if the customer sells or uses the Delivered items in the ordinary course of the customer’s business at full market value; it shall be for the account of K.U.S. Any such sale or dealing shall be a sale or use of K.U.S property by the customer on the customer’s own behalf and the customer shall deal as principal when making such sales or dealings. Until property in the Delivered Items passes from K.U.S to the customer the entire proceeds of sale or otherwise of the Delivered Items shall be held in trust for K.U.S and shall not be mixed with other money or paid into any overdrawn bank account and shall be at all material times identified as K.U.S money.
