Plywood
PLYWOOD has proved its worth in formwork construction in the past three decades, against increasing requirements for load carrying capacity and surface quality. K.U.S film-faced plywood is suitable for all types of formwork, whether it is a formwork system or loose panel formwork, slab or wall casting. It is suitable for flat or curved surfaces and the film protects the wood surface where it is exposed to the weather and
concrete. The rigid film-faced surface not only prevents moisture absorption but also ensures excellent abrasion resistance in aggressive conditions and smooth finish to concrete formwork. Factory edges are painted to provide water and alkali resistance. Plywood sheets are 1220 x 2440 mm and come in 12 and 18 mm thickness.

Timber & Hollow Section
TIMBER can be used in all types of formwork. K.U.S timber strips are from pure Keruing and mixed tropical hardwood species, available in different sizes and lengths. They are durable and can be easily nailed. Both ends of the timber strips are treated with black moistureproof paint. Timber strips can be used in horizontal formwork as stringers and joists and in vertical formwork as studs and wales.

D Form Tie System
D Form Tie System is widely used in the construction industry, due to its fast and easy assembly and removal of the need for temporary formwork. The system prevents breakage in the formwork and thus keeps concrete structures in good shape. It also saves construction costs, as all parts are reusable except for the separator (inner unit) which is cast into the concrete structures.

Formwork Clamp
FORMWORK CLAMP is the most efficient and reliable means for anchoring and locking formwork during concrete casting. The system guarantees fast set-up and ultra-fast removal for formwork, making it extremely popular in the construction industry.
The rod is gripped strongly by the wedge, made of very hard steel, with longitudinal grooves that grip the iron rod to prevent it from slipping. Formwork Clamps prevent structural failure in formwork and ensure perfectly straight castings.


INSTALLATION METHOD
After setting up the timber or steel formwork for concrete casting, screw iron rods through the formwork at proper intervals. Set a Formwork Clamp to one end of the rod, hitting the wedge head with a light hammer blow. Set a second clamp at the opposite end, locking it in position after stretching the bar with the Tensioner Clamp. Remove the tensioner and you are ready to move on to the next pair of clamps.

Galvanised Iron & Black Annealed Wire
G.I. WIRE is manufactured from low carbon steel through drawing and electro-galvanising. It is commonly used for binding reinforcement steel in the construction industry. To achieve secured binding requirements, K.U.S provides a wide selection of gauges, ranging from SWG8 to BWG20. For easy and efficient application, the BWG20 G.I. wire is supplied in precut lengths of 300mm, 350mm, 400mm and 500mm.
BLACK ANNEALED WIRE , also known as annealed iron wire or annealed wire, offers excellent flexibility and softness through the process of oxygen-free annealing. This process allows largediameter wire to twist and turn easily, achieving both strength and flexibility requirements.

Concrete Spacer & Plaswheel
CONCRETE SPACER has been developed to prevent corrosive agents from reaching the reinforcement steel through cracks and pervious concrete, when concrete structures are exposed to a wide range of conditions such as soil, seawater, stored chemicals or the atmosphere. This cover is also necessary to protect the reinforcement steel against a rapid rise in temperature and subsequent loss of strength during a fire. The K.U.S Concrete Spacer meets the demands for covering the reinforcement steel, as required by industrial standards. The thickness of the cover required depends on the severity of the exposure and the quality of the concrete. They are widely used in the construction of roads, tunnels, bridges, docks and buildings. Plaswheel is easily positioned on reinforcement steel and has a special locking arrangement to minimise the risk of the spacer becoming dislodged when in position. Its rigidity is strong enough to withstand the normal working pressure exerted on it whilst the formwork is being placed, but it is sufficiently flexible to be readily fixed on reinforcing steel of different bar sizes.

Bar Chair
BAR CHAIR is used to set reinforcing bar and mesh to the correct position, preventing it from being exposed to the environment and corrosion. Bar Chair is made of machine-bent hard drawn steel wires of 4.5 to 6.0 mm diameter, self-coloured with powder-coated tips at the legs to prevent corrosion.
