A problem spoken to us from a mum who is resident out here. “My son keeps getting stopped by the local police and they are asking for his ID. What ID does he need to comply�. When we asked Loreto she picked up the phone and asked the Police Chief. The Police should not be asking for this ID from a minor. We have an answer to this which we have talked about to the mother. We do not want to put this in print, but if you are having the same problem, please give us a call. There was an unfortunate motor scooter fatality on the urbanisation between the post office and the GA Commercial centre, last month, which closed the road for a while. And now the opportunity to go back through all of last years magazines, to remind you of all that has happened on our
urbanisation over the last twelve months. Most months we carried pictures from our advertisers of events that took place on their premises. January Work was underway with our new park and the fencing all along the edge of the Clot. The allotment idea was also muted to us. Discussions were also taking place to landscape the roundabout at the bottom of the Maxcoop hill. February Main story was the opening of the park. Many names coming to us about the allotments. There were over a thousand entries for the running of the Santa Pola 1/2 marathon run on the 24th of the month. Dog mess was mentioned yet again and on the 23rd we were at the opening of the improved Santa Pola football stadium. March We were at the official opening of the new park. Discussions were underway about the new tourist train for Gran Alacant. We were told about the revamp in the health centre to include a new paediatric service. April Over 150 people were planting trees in the Clot. The dog fouling petition was started by us, to try to get a permanent dog warden on Gran Alacant. We were at the talks at the Life Resort by the British Consulate from Alicante. Discussions also took place about residents parking near
