BOMA Toronto remains deeply
committed and dedicated to driving exceptional and relevant value for our members and is focused on providing the support, information, networking, curated education, tools, recognition, mentorship and advocacy that you need to succeed and grow in the CRE Industry.
2024 has been another great year for our organization, industry, and members! We are grateful to our membership for their steadfast support and engagement throughout our organization’s 100+ year history.
Over the past year we have made great strides in establishing new ways to reach and connect with our members. We launched a new, modernized website that features exclusive member benefits, such as a searchable real-time Member Directory, a weekly forum for members to connect, and a comprehensive Resource Library.
Last year, BOMA Toronto introduced a new Mentorship Program with over 60 emerging leaders, seasoned professional members and CRE leaders paired as Mentors and Mentees in both Cohorts one and two. We look forward to opening Cohort 3 in early 2025.
Education formats were enhanced in 2024 to better accommodate our members’ needs through in-person, live stream, virtual and OnDemand learning through 24 Education sessions and building tours. Our Emerging Leaders Series, 2 new Advisory Councils, our Annual NXTCONNECT Intern Signature Event and a renewed focus on volunteerism through committee participants ensures that all BOMA Toronto members have the opportunity to forge new relationships, grow their careers and contribute to the industry.
Eight, high-profile Signature Events are reconnecting and adding value for our members through a variety of engaging formats.
BOMA Toronto has your interests in mind, actively advocating and lobbying with the City of Toronto on the proposed Parking Levy and Stormwater Levy, and with the Provincial Government on the significant delays to the Property Assessment and Taxation cycles. We also sit on the Congestion Task Force hosted by the Toronto Region Board of Trade. This Coalition remains robust, resilient and committed as we continue to advocate for our members and the industry.
