CONDOMINIO CLUB DE GOLF LOS DELFINES

Dear Condominium Owners,
As November arrives, we find ourselves in the peak of the rainy season that characterizes our beautiful Costa Rica. This month brings not only a refreshed, vibrant landscape but also the need to prepare for the intense rains that are common during this time.
While rain is vital for the ecosystem and our water supply, it can also pose challenges for our community. It is essential that we take proactive measures to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being. Here are some recommendations to help us face this season effectively:
1. Drain and Drainage System Inspection: Let’s make sure our drainage systems are clean and in good condition. This will help prevent flooding and water accumulation in common areas.
2. Outdoor Area Maintenance: Inspect outdoor areas around homes, such as gardens and pathways, to identify any issues that may worsen during heavy rains. Proper landscaping can help minimize risks.
3. Emergency Preparedness: I recommend that each household has an emergency plan in place, including evacuation routes and a basic supply kit (water, non-perishable food, flashlights, etc.), in case a major emergency arises.
4. Neighbor Communication: Let’s keep communication channels open. Being aware of our neighbors’ concerns and recommendations can be essential to acting in a coordinated manner during any unforeseen event.
5. Investment in Necessary Repairs: If there are areas that require attention, such as roofs or electrical installations, let’s not wait for issues to worsen. Taking preventive action will help protect us and allow for a more peaceful season.
With the high tourism season approaching, it is also essential to remember the importance of being good hosts. Our visitors appreciate the beauty of our surroundings, and our preparation can help ensure they have a positive experience.
Let us take this time to come together as a community. Collaboration and the exchange of ideas can help us approach the end of the rainy season with confidence and security.
Sincerely,

ANDRÉS ENRIQUE BOZA SEGURA Director CCDGL MANAGEMENT SRL.
The administration supports the initiative of our neighbor Inga Hildebrandt, who we thank in name of our costarican kids!

Christmas is coming and it´s that time of year again to give back to this beautiful country we are lucky enough to enjoy. As well as raising money for the Vanilla and area Children`s Christmas party, I have been asked to reach out to the community for help. There are four schools who are in dire need of recreational equipment. So rather than ask twice, I am asking for one donation that will benefit many more children in our area.
The schools are:
1- Escuela de pueblo Nuevo
2- Escuela de Esperanza Norte
3- Escuela Montaña Grande
4- Escuela de Gigante
With your help we will do our best to ensure everyone`s needs are met this holiday season.
You can either drop off your donation at villa 558 or email transfer to my Canadian account and I will withdraw the equivalent in Colonies here in Costa Rica. My email address is armyspice7@gmail.com. Please message me once you have made a donation or if you are dropping it off as Retirement seems to be my new full time job and I am very busy LOL. I hope you are able to help us give back. Thanks for your support.”
From the administration we are very happy to support in this initiative and be part of it too, so if it´s easier, you can also drop off any donation at the admin office and we will make sure that it is delivered!
