Come out for a free all-ages presentation about our local Lepidoptera (butterflies) with Ray Vizgirdas. The foothills, high valleys, slopes, sagebrush steppe, meadows, and peaks of the southcentral Idaho mountains offer a great array of host plants and habitat for butterflies. Nearly one hundred species have been recorded in the area, and many of those may be found in season between the Treasure Valley and Bogus Basin. In this FREE introductory class you will become familiar with local butterflies and learn about their biology and natural history. Day 2: BUTTERFLYING AT BOGUS BASIN

Seven fun-filled family “Movies Under the Stars” evenings begin at 7:00 pm, with free fun and games for kids provided by the Boise Parks & Recreation Mobile Recreation Van.
