Your bi-monthly Boise Metro Chamber update
The 137th Annual Chamber Gala: A (Hybrid) Win for the Boise Metro Chamber and Staff by Bill Connors, Boise Metro Chamber The 137th Annual Boise Chamber Gala is in the books. I’m so proud of the Chamber team for staging a well-orchestrated hybrid event in the COVID-19 era. We can do meetings safely! “Napkin Notes” author Garth Callaghan delivered a great message of recovery and hope. Our live and silent auctions went very well. Thanks to all of our sponsors, auction donors, bidders, attendees, and hundreds of online viewers. We made sure to have thermal scanners at the Boise Centre doors, sanitizer everywhere, distanced tables and chairs, and limited 10% of our regular capacity crowd — it wasn't easy, but the show went on. Good work Boise Centre! You couldn’t have created a safer environment. Thanks to the Chamber team, and all of our incredible business supporters. On to our 138th!
