Your bi-monthly Boise Metro Chamber update
New Virtual Chamber Series Sparks Much-Needed Discussion on Civility in Local Government by Connor Jay Liess, Boise Metro Chamber Polarization, whether at the federal or local levels, has never been a more hotly debated issue among legislative leaders and their constituents. The Boise Metro Chamber works year-round with local and state elected officials, and this year, launched a brand-new series that is picking up a lot of traction with our viewers and the local press. "In Search of Civility" is a monthly virtual event hosted by the Chamber in partnership with Smith + Malek Law Firm and the Idaho Association of Cities. Each month, our very own Mat Erpelding sits down with former elected leaders in Idaho to find ways that cut through the political fog in an attempt to find a common ground. Presented by Dawson Taylor Coffee and Idaho Central Credit Union, with co-sponsors Power Engineers and Erstad Architects, as well as media partners, Idaho EdNews, Idaho Statesman, and Idaho Press, this series is co-hosted by Diana Lachiondo, Luke Malek, and Kelley Packer. Join us every third Tuesday of the month for this continuing education opportunity! Go to our website — www.boisechamber.org — to learn more about this and all other upcoming legislative events and to see ways to tune in.
