The Speckle Park breed is one that has certainly gained more and more popularity the last decade as it offers so much diversity as an ideal cross in other British and European breeds for the carcass value it adds as well as a strong emphasis on their maternal abilities. On behalf of us all BMS, we are pleased to be working with the Prairie Gateway group along with their guest consignors for this online production sale.

We have a truly exciting and diverse offering to sell to you over December 10 & 11 through Farm Gate Auctions. The bred cows on offer are true breeding pieces that are proven producers and will be cornerstone building blocks for their new owners. Only at such an event are good ol’ cows offered up to be true sale features. The bred yearlings in the sale are a small in quantity, high in quality type group and believe they are some of the very best you will find this fall. They all carry unique and exciting services to help land a quick return on investment. The calendar year heifers are a very good set that offer a pile of diversity, females that can be competitive show heifers and will ultimately make big time production cows. We firmly believe they are an exciting group with a lifetime of production ahead of them.

Welcome to our first fall production sale with our good friends and sale partners. We are very excited to present these females to you. We dug deep for this offering. The cows are from the heart of our herd and are good producing functioning females with useful udders. The bred heifers are from the top of our replacement pen, exhibiting an exciting future. We have a solid set of heifer calves that will be perfect for junior and 4H projects, with one standout being 67K. We are offering the opportunity to flush Pordercrest Good Looken, who visitors have deemed to be our top female. Kat Lady gets her name honestly from her smooth movements. Kat Lady is an attractive female that puts it all together. Feminine front end, thick top, barrel ribbed, good depth, length of body, and standing on solid feet and legs. Out of a good producing Yager female lots of growth and calving ease in this line.

Kimberly is a sale feature. This big performance heifer is one that is easy to find in the pen. She is feminine fronted, big topped, deep ribbed, long spined, and is structurally correct. Her dam just keeps producing great offspring. With some semen in the tank off her maternal brother it makes letting her go a little easier.

Our Calico Creek heifer calves were pictured and videoed during an October snow storm so were not presenting themselves as well as they could have for the catalogue. 3 of our heifers are just April babies, so a little fresh yet but we know they will mature into some great cows. Both of these females have the potential to change the bar for the next owner. Definitely donor quality with the right ingredients in the show ring or pasture.
