Another high performing Spark Plug bull with a nice blaze face. Spark Plug was the high selling bull that ourselves and Circle 7 Ranch & Sunrise Simmentalspurchased for $95,000 out of the Springcreek bull sale in 2016. He was stout, sound, thick and had a real presence about him. Also an outcross pedigree sired by the polled full Fleckvieh bull Anchor D Viper and out of a really good, moderate framed Crosby female. He was homo polled and half Fleckvieh. We’re happy with his offspring giving us some baldy bulls and heifers that are good as you will see throughout the sale in the red division, black division and the heifer calves.

Homo Polled. A red Springcreek Liner 56U son out of a tremendous T-Bone X Barbi daughter 86U. We bought this T-Bone daughter from Bob Anderson at Cremona, AB as a heifer calf and she has been one of our favorites. She’s produced outstanding females and this will be her third bull to go through the bull sale. Her past two bulls have sold to Storle Farms, Lake Alma, SK and Blackwell Bros at Assiniboia, SK. 144E has just a little star on his head, is smooth made and correct. I would be hoping for a large group of heifer calves to keep for replacements off this bull. With the Barbi cow in the pedigree and the great females 56U makes, it would be quite a replacement pen.

Homo Polled by parentage. This will be the fourth bull in a row that the 124Y cow has sent to our March bull sale. In last year’s sale her Redneck son sold to Bob Spier at Brock, SK, in 2016 she raised a herdsire for Schweitzer Simmentals, Cam & Myrna Schweitzer of Decker, MB and in our 2015 sale her son sold to Melvin Holmes, Minton. SK. As we said before, these 56U cows can produce. This year’s bull is a good, deep, soggy, Westcott son.
