Welcome to KT Ranches 6th annual bull sale. In 2016 we purchased our rst place and late that year bought a few purebred females and in 2017 purchased purebred bulls. We learned that to succeed we needed the best genetics. We aggressively acquired better and better genetics both through animals, semen and embryos. Our Reference herd sires include Coleman Glacier, Coleman Mendoza, SVS Betts 808, RF Caliber, Mader Walk the Line, Black Gold Tangle ags , SAV Believe, Belvin Honey Jack, Brooking Emerald, Hummel South America, SAV RIP, SAV Believe, and Rust Forged in Fire who won Supreme at two shows two years ago and top 10 at Agribition that year. We have females such as Brooking’ Countess 9026, her mother, Darlin 2J, Sage, to name a few. KT Ranches acquired the Canadian semen rights to Udell New Heights last year and are excited by his calves and we recently o ered up some of his semen. Our female production sale was held this fall and as the results show the 2024 calf crop is extremely strong.
We are calving in Cherryville, Kamloops, and Enderby this winter and as I write this, we are 75% done on a total of 1000 females. is has been a year of two focuses. Geo and Lacey and crew have had a successful show season as well as produced a remarkable set of animals. Our animals last year were outstanding and this year they are even better.
We have been working to get our infrastructure to a place that will easily support our animals both for grass as well as forage. We have installed four pivots this winter, working on another and will continue with infrastructure work this year. Our crew have done an outstanding job on infrastructure and harvesting.
e bulls on o er have very good feet, quiet temperaments, and are structurally sound. All bulls have been examined by our veterinarian for soundness and passed a semen test. We stand behind our animals and commit to the guarantee outlined in this catalogue. If your bull arrives and you are unhappy, we will replace him or nd an acceptable solution of a sale credit. Every bull has passed a semen evaluation by a licensed veterinarian prior to the sale and is structurally sound and capable of breeding cows naturally. Fleshing ability Within 9 months after breeding season, your bull should have recovered the weight loss and be in reasonable, healthy condition with a good quality forage diet. We are not responsible for anything above the purchase price of the bull.
If the conditions of the guarantee are not achieved, we will do one of four things: 1) Replace the bull with one of equal value (most practical during breeding season) 2) Replace the bull and adjust the value agreed upon (most practical during or before breeding season) 3) Take back or ship the bull and a credit will be given to you for the selection of another bull the following year (most practical after breeding season). 4) Take back or ship the bull and a credit will be given to you for the selection of another bull the following year (most practical after breeding season). Brooking Countess 9026 progeny have become a consistent launch point for recent KT Ranches Sale Catalogues. Countess 9026 is at the very top of the donor collection at KT, and is responsible for some of the most consistent, successful and profitable matings at the ranch. This past fall a daughter, KT Countess 3342 was the lot 1 leado and high selling female to Canadian Donors and Steven Knutson, along with her co-high selling female, KT Countess 3042 a granddaughter of 9026. The South America x 9026 mating has had a very successful year. A flushmate to these bulls, Brooking South America 4022 was named Presidents Classic Champion at Canadian Western Agribtion, and later in the week went on to become the very first Angus bull calf ever to make the Top 10 in the Agribition Supreme, big Congratulations to Brooking . This trio of flush brothers are some of our favorites ever born here at KT. These are bulls with extra hip, depth, rib, hair and look. Every once in a while, there are Angus females that come along and stop you dead in your tracks and you can`t help but stop, look and dream of the possibilities. SAV Emblynette 2725 was exactly that type of female. Backed by the world famous Emblynette cow family, a direct daughter of 2369, one of the patriarchs of that cow family. 2725 was a female with power, frame, length and elegance, she was a female that had all the added features. The merger of South America and Emblynette 2725 has been nothing short of explosive. KT Emblynette 4192 was one of the very top end heifer calves of the 2024 calf crop and was a class winner at Canadian Western Agribtion. KT South America 4305 will be one of the longest bodied, stoutest, powerful, unique bulls to sell on any continent. A powerhouse bull, with true Angus character, backed by a big-time cow family.

Another blend of 2 of our favourites. South America and PM Tibbie 216`15. Tibbie 216 has been a rockstar donor since her arrival out of the Rosebowl sale held a few summers ago. She has been a no miss female with 42 registered calves with the Canadian Angus Association, to go alone with an incredible flush of Cabaret SimmAngus bulls later in this book. At ten years of age, Tibbie is still a beautiful cow, with lots of gas left in the tank and is a major tourist attraction to visitors to the ranch. KT South America 4254 is a high-quality bull with a classic South America look, lots of rib, hip, hair, a sound functional back leg and loads of Angus character, a bull that will sire calves that will be in the contention of the top of the heifer and bull pens.
A dynamic duo of flush brother by South America and KT Chloe 1021. Chloe 1021 is one of the up and coning young donors at KT. Her son last year, Jack Smash was the high selling bull in last years sale and her daughter by Glacier is one of the very favorites in the replacement pen. A pair of good looking, hairy, deep sided bulls out of a full sister to Coleman Triumph.

A pair of SAV Panter sons that are definite sale features. SAV Panther was the $350,000 high selling bull of the 2022 SAV Bull Sale to Voss Angus. KT Ranches, Brooking and Canadian Sires were fortunate to acquire the Canadian Semen rights on Panter. The Panther x Countess 9026 was a high-quality flush leaving us a great set of bulls and females. Two of the highlight Angus heifer calves in last years production sale were Panther X Countess daughters selling to ZWT and Seager Anderson. The Countess cow family has been of the more dominant cow families in Canada of late with 3 females last fall commanding six figure price tags. KT Panther 4105 and KT Panther 4109 are elite level, big time phenotype, power bulls with a good look and huge maternal backing on both sides of their pedigree.

Soo Line Rose 1019 has been of the most influential donors of the last decade and has been one of the foundation building block females at Brooking. I`d be lying if we said we weren’t a bit disappointed when this one came out a bull, the thought of the maternal power in a Panther x 1019 combo in a female was the reason we had bought these embryos. The good news is Panter 4404 will have the pedigree and look to be a big time female maker, without sacrificing length, hip, depth, or hair. True Angus character in this bull, he is one of the real intriguing bulls of the day.

KR Casino is a bull we have admired for a long time for his ability to make good looking, high phenotype cattle that are big bodied and high performing. When we were able to acquire semen on Casino, we flushed him to some of out very top end donor females including SAV Blackcap May 3212. 3212 would be one of the biggest bodied, longest, deepest ribbed female on the ranch that is a sight to behold. KT Casino 4359 is everything you would expect from this mating, he is long bodied, big backed, stout made, heavy and good looking. A true performance bull that will add pounds and sire calves that pack a punch and are still good looking.
Brooking Emerald has done so many things correctly in his breeding career. Big time females, awesome bulls, sale toppers, show winners, and the front pasture kind. We only have one Emerald Yearling and 2 fall Emerald bulls in the sale, but we wish we had 50 to sell that looked like KT Emerald 4680. An Awesome looking, big bodied, huge ribbed bull on his own right, and backed by one of the up and coming your donors at the ranch, KT Chloe 1021, who had the high selling bull in last years sale. An excellent Emerald backed by the Chloe family, another bull that will be a female maker, without sacrificing pounds.

Our lead o Glacier bulls are another trio of certified female makers. Glacier has done everything we have asked of him, making highly maternal, long, soggy, heavy, good-looking cattle that are the right type and kind. PM Tibbie 216`15 has 11 bulls in this year’s sale, and is one of the favorite donors at KT. A full sister to this flush was an $18,000 highlight to Ingram Angus in Tennessee out of the production sale. An excellent set of flush brothers.

The Beauty cow family has been a big part in the foundation at Brooking, and when Brooking Beauty 333 and Brooking Beauty 8187 were o ered for sale last year, we jumped at the opportunity to acquire both of them. Beauty 8187 is a sight to behold, she`s massive bodied, powerful, combined with an attractive look and big-time udder. She`s an elite donor female that can make incredible bulls and females. On the bull side she is the dam of Rust Forged of Fire, the Supreme Champion bull from Farm Fair, he has left a great set of progeny that will be on o er today too. Another son, Brooking Chosen One 3200 is set to become a household name for Murray Ranched and Bar-E-L. Brooking Beauty 4197 was a sale highlight in last years Brooking Invitational and was one of the most unique heifer calves out last year. The Glacier x 8187 combo gave us two outstanding bulls to o er. Good looking, big bodied, awesome headed, and you can bet the females out of these two will be dynamic.

A ¾ brother to the last bull, another Glacier x Colossal combo. Similar to the last bull, good headed, smooth made, big hipped and out of a good uddered, good-looking cow.

Anderson Primrose is an awesome uddered, moderate, tanky, cool looking Stone daughter that does a good job every year. I sound like a broken record on these Glacier sons, but they are all stamped the same and are a consistent group of bulls. KT Glacier 4243 is a low birth, good looking bull backed by a beautiful cow.
KT Executive 4136 has been a favorite of many of the visitors to the ranch through out the year. His dam, SAV Madame Pride 8126 is another one of out absolute favorite donor females at the ranch. She is about as angular, big bodied, big ribbed and perfect uddered as you can make an Angus female. She passes that same build onto all her calves. Her natural calf last year, KT Gravity 3233, was one of the very best bulls to sell in last years sale to Lewis Farms and Rocking Heart Range. W Sunrise Executive was a bull we were runner up on and after acquiring some semen on him and his first calves here, he is definitely one of the ones we wished we had been successful on. Executive 4136 is a bull that’s worth the trip to Cherryville and one we love a lot of things about.
A set of three flush brothers from the Executive x Coleman Dixie Erica 7120 combination. Dixie Erica is another cow that travels in the mix with the top donors at KT. She is incredibly long, angular, beautiful headed and perfect uddered. A full sib flushmate to these bulls was a highlight heifer calf in our production sale to ZWT. This trio of flush brothers are some of the most unique bulls in the sale. A really good blend of lower birth, with power, depth, hair and look. Maternally charged bulls that should be at the top of many lists on sale day.

A big-time pair of flush brothers to kick o the Forged of Fire sire group. Forged of Fire has been a great addition to the KT sire line up. We loved his phenotype, his look, his power and his beautiful dam, Beauty 8187. Forged was Supreme Champion at Farm Fair and Top 10 finalist at the Agribition Supreme, but more importantly has turned into a solid breeding bull. The combination of Forged and SAV Madame Pride 8126 is everything you would expect. Big bodied, moderate framed, huge rib, huge top, hip and are as cool looking as they come. Maternal brothers to KT Gravity 3233 one of the favorite bulls of last years sale to Lewis Farms and Rocking Heart Range, these two bulls have much of the same build and look as Gravity. These bulls have some of the breeds greatest females stacked into their pedigree with Annie K 390, Beauty 333, Beauty 8187, Madame Pride 8126, Blackcap May 4136. These two bulls are cool dudes that have a big bright future ahead of them.
KT Forged of Fire 4313 is one of the very top bulls in the entire o ering. Tons of length, hip, power, middle, hair, has an awesome skull and true Angus character. His dam SAV Emblynette 3623 is a powerhouse donor by Rito 9969 that originated at Scha Angus Valley. She`s long, level topped, powerful, elegant and is a cow we love to look at. Forged 4313 is a striking blend of power and maternal, definitely one to check out sale day.
A pair of flush brothers by Forged of Fire and Coleman Beauty 6331. 6331 is another striking monster of the donor group at KT. A big bodied, long, tanky, powerful, classic Angus female that is a maternal sib to Soo Line Motive 9016. Forged 4356 and Forged 4302 are low birth, highly maternal herd sire prospects that could be used in the heifer or cow pasture.
