Another exciting female who is a full sibling to our high selling bull in 2019 to Mark Land and Cattle. 108B is a female who will definitely end up in our donor program. A massive bodied, great footed, good uddered female who produces year after year. Her bull calf is a favourite around here for the 2021 bull sale. 36G, similar to her dam, is very deep bodied but yet still feminine up front and sound at the ground. It was tough to decision to sell some of these heifers and 36G was definitely one of those due to her combination of a great phenotype and cow family.

Breeding quality polled fullblood cattle is something we have been trying hard to do. We were awfully excited when the results come back on 51G, as she’s one that has definitely made some friends. A good structured, long bodied, feminine female that looks to be setting down a near perfect udder. 333A is a favourite around here; a moderate framed, easy doing, heavy milking cow that allows her to wean a calf similar to her size each year. A maternal brother to 51G is a highlight in our bull pen and a member of our fullblood pen of 3 bulls at Edam Fall Fair, and 51G will be in our string of show cattle at the Lloydminster Stockade Round-Up.

Every single year our bull pen is highlighted by multiple sons from the Miss Moses cow family and 603D is a cow that is living up to that reputation as she has a full brother to 909G is sure to get noticed next spring. Esposito is a bull that is really starting to leave his mark on our herd. His first daughters just weaned off their first calves and they are showing a ton of potential. The features of both the bull calf and replacement heifer pens are the Esposito progeny. 37G has a very gentle nature and a great look to her. She is a granddaughter of our old flush cow 133U, who has done a fantastic job for us and is still in production. 133U has been very successfully flushed and put bulls into several breeder programs with the highlight being Erixon High Roller to Canadian Sires and Hannah Simmentals.

The 133U daughters are highly productive and we have numerous females in the herd. She is very consistent with weaning off some heavy weight bulls and the daughters are on point. Erixon Infinite is a homozygous polled Limitless son that we think very highly of. Calving ease is built in to his pedigree as he is off a Sheriff daughter who has a flawless udder. We felt that we would be a great addition to our bull battery and be a perfect candidate to walk in our heifer pen.

Early in the summer we decided to offer this heifer for sale so that we could get a daughter of our Ironclad bull out and about and offered to the public, and what an ideal female to do that with! Ironclad was one of our all time favourites to sell through our bull sale. He sold in our 2018 bull sale to Indian River Cattle Company and Canadian Sires. We proceeded to utilize him in our AI program for a couple of years and were excited to end up purchasing him back through the Quality Control sale this fall. He carries one of the most in demand pedigrees in the Simmental breed currently, being a Cobra X Iron Sugar son. This year we had a bit of a shortage of bred heifers for the sale so we decided to dip into the heifer calf pen and pull out our top red calf. 028H is stout made heifer with excellent length of spine.

Her mother is a moderate tank with a beautiful udder. Bradshaw really caught our eye as a yearling and he continues to impress as he matures. 028H is dark red with loads of hair and has enough eye appeal to make a 4-H / Junior project, but more importantly, I believe she has the broodiness and power to be a productive cow many years from now.
