During the summer kids have to come in every day and mainly in the mornings, and most kids value their sleep a lot.

Q: How have you been handling this unprecedented season? A: This season has been interesting. We have only gotten to play six regular season games, but everyone does get a chance in the playoffs. Everyone having to wear masks is probably the weirdest part and most different.

Q: How does it feel to be leading the playoffs this season? A: Getting a chance to play DeSales in the third round of playoffs is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It also is the biggest game in Granville history. So getting to play with my teammates and coaches is awesome. I could not have done it without anyone and especially my linemen.

Q: Do you want to be a professional football player when you grow up? A: I do actually want to be a professional player when I am older. It has been a dream of mine since I was 4.

Q: Does your football jersey number mean anything to you or is special to you? A: Yes I have always worn my number with a purpose. I used to wear 18 because Peyton Manning is my favorite player of all time. But that number was not available my freshman year, so I took 9. 9 is special to me because I have worn it for the past four years. Plus, I think it looks good on me.

Q: How will it feel to be leaving Granville and the football team? A: I will probably be a little sad but I think I’m ready for the next chapter in my life. God has very many great things in store for me and I am very excited to see what they are.

Q: What is your favorite football memory? A: I guess my favorite memory playing football is running 49 yards for a touchdown my sophomore year.
