As we take the final steps in welcoming Aventa Credit Union members to our Blue family, we’ll convert Aventa to Blue’s core banking system on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. This system is at the heart of everything we do, from managing deposits and withdrawals to processing loan payments and providing seamless online and mobile banking services.

Boulder Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union is charted.
Rocky Flats Federal Credit Union became Community Financial Federal Credit Union (CFCU).

In August, the Dow Rockey Flats Credit Union is organized with 35% of the plant’s employment joining.

Blue FCU acquires two Liberty Savings Bank branches in Colorado.

Why are Aventa’s branches converting to Blue’s core processing system?
At Blue Federal Credit Union, we want to ensure all members receive the best experience possible. The conversion will align all products and services to our processing system, allowing us to provide seamless support. This operational conversion is the final step in our merger process.
How will the conversion affect member eligibility and membership requirements?
Your Aventa Credit Union membership will automatically transfer to Blue Federal Credit Union. No need to worry—your membership is safe with us.
Why will my account transactions be limited during the core conversion?
The data system conversion will happen from the close of business on Monday, September 30, through Wednesday, October 2.
During this time, online and mobile banking will be unavailable. However, you may still use your debit card and write checks. All previously scheduled bill pay and/or automated ACH items will still be process as planned.
Please note, branches will have limited system access during the conversion but can assist with non-transactional inquiries or small emergency cash needs.

How will I be notified about any actions I need to take?
We will send you important documents outlining your account information and providing details about any actions you may need to take. Please be sure your contact information on file is correct. To update your information, please log into mobile banking or contact us at 1-800-555-6665.
Will there be any changes to my fees or service charges?
Fees and service charges may change to align with Blue Federal Credit Union. We will communicate any changes well in advance.
Will my account number change?
Your account number will get a minor update with a new three-digit prefix. In September, you will receive a Member Conversion Kit that will include important information, including details about your account number.
Will my routing number change?
Yes, your routing number will switch to Blue Federal Credit Union’s. We’ll provide all the details you need to make this transition seamless.
Will there be changes to branch locations and hours?
Through Blue Federal Credit Union, you will have access to a larger network of branches. You can see all locations on the Branch Locations pages in this brochure or online at bluefcu.com.
Will my information be safe during the conversion?
Security is our top priority, and we will take every precaution to ensure your account information remains protected as we complete the conversion.
How will the merger affect my loan payments?
Existing automated loan payments will continue to be processed. There is no need to make any adjustments or changes. Rest assured, your existing loans and credit card terms will stay the same. There will be no changes to your interest rates or payment schedules because of the merger.

What will happen to my existing Aventa credit card?
There will be no immediate changes to your Aventa credit card. We plan on updating all credit cards by the second quarter of 2025. We’ll let you know well in advance about the distribution and activation instructions for your new card.

Your existing deposit account(s) will stay the same, with the exception of a possible change to the product name to align with Blue’s products.
What will happen to my existing debit card?
Your debit card(s) will continue to work as usual, with no immediate changes required. Once our system conversion is complete, we’ll provide updates regarding any debit card enhancements. Please continue to use your card(s) as normal until then.
How will the merger affect my direct deposit(s)?
Your direct deposit(s) will continue to work as usual, with no immediate changes required.
Will my online and mobile banking services change?
Yes, you will have access to Blue Federal Credit Union’s online and mobile banking platforms, Blue Digital. These platforms offer enhanced features and functionality. We will provide instructions on enrolling in these new services in the Conversion Kit, which will be mailed to you within the next few weeks.
