STRONGER
Leadership Overview
If there is one thing 2024 has proven, it is that we are stronger together. This year was one of transformation, growth, and deepened connections—not just within Blue, but across the communities we serve.
At Blue, we believe in being a lifelong champion for our members, providing the resources, support, and financial empowerment needed to thrive. Throughout 2024, we focused on strengthening relationships, simplifying experiences, and creating opportunities that help our members and communities flourish.
One of the most significant moments of the year was welcoming Aventa Credit Union members into the Blue family. This was not just a merger—it was a blending of values, cultures, and a shared commitment to financial well-being. Through transparent communication, hands-on support, and a member-first approach, we ensured a seamless transition, reinforcing that together, we are stronger and better equipped to serve our members’ needs.
We also took a bold step in financial empowerment with the launch of the Boost Center by Blue, an initiative under the Blue Foundation. More than just a building, the Boost Center is a commitment—a dynamic, collaborative space designed to uplift individuals and families by partnering with local nonprofits and organizations already making a difference. By focusing on housing stability, educational development, and economic opportunity, the Boost Center empowers individuals on their journey to financial independence. It is about creating real change through real resources, providing the support people need to build stronger futures. We continued investing in technology and

member service, making engagement with Blue easier, faster, and more rewarding. Blue Digital, our online and mobile banking platform, saw enhancements that improved security, personalization, and usability. We believe banking with Blue should be as smooth and intuitive as possible—whether at home, on the go, or anywhere in between. At the same time, NOVA Perks™ entered its second year, delivering exclusive benefits and rewards, reinforcing our commitment to providing meaningful value to our members.
As we look toward the future, we are embracing a mindset of getting back to basics. This means doubling down on what matters most—delivering exceptional service, simplified experiences, and meaningful financial solutions. We are refining our focus to ensure we are meeting members exactly where they are, with the tools and support they need to succeed.
Of course, Blue is about more than finances—we are about impact. Whether through volunteerism, sustainability efforts, or partnerships like our work with Children’s Hospital Colorado, we are committed to making a difference. Our strength is not just in numbers; it is in the way we come together to create positive change.
We do so with renewed energy and commitment. Stronger together , we will keep building a brighter future. Thank you for trusting Blue with your financial goals and believing in the power of community.
Here is to another successful year—together!

More Than A Community Resource Center
On November 1, the Boost Center by Blue opened its doors to the Cheyenne community. Created by the Blue Foundation, this center is meant to be more than just a place; it’s a promise to uplift and strengthen the heart of our community by serving as a community resource hub. By joining hands with trusted non-profits, the Boost Center is focused on helping people find secure housing, empowering educational growth, and opening doors to new economic possibilities.

At its core, this initiative is about walking alongside each individual, offering guidance and support as they build a path to lasting financial independence. Together, we can make a bigger impact and help even more people thrive.

Financial Strength: Together We Achieve More
Strong finances mean strong futures. At Blue, financial success isn’t about a bottom line—it’s about empowering members, reinvesting in our communities, and delivering the products and services that help people thrive.
This past year, growth fueled lower loan rates, better savings opportunities, and exciting innovations like Blue Digital—all made possible by the trust and partnership of our members. The numbers tell a story of impact, showing how, together, we’re creating brighter financial futures for all.

Statement of Income and Financial Condition
At Blue, we place you at the center of everything we do. As your trusted lifelong champion, we are committed to investing in your success and in the vibrancy of the communities we call home. We live our mission each day by helping you realize pathways to a brighter future – for yourself, your community, and those you love. As we lean further into these ambitious goals, our cooperative principles ensure that our investment in you also extends opportunity to new members, amplifying a wave of hope and vitality that began at our founding more than 70 years ago.
In 2024, we were proud to extend this legacy by welcoming new communities and members into the Blue family. Our merger with Aventa Credit Union in Southern Colorado expanded total membership to more than 140,000 and increased total assets by more than $250 million, a growth rate of 13.53%. With this expansion, total assets crossed the $2 billion threshold – another monumental milestone – to end the year at more than $2.13 billion. Amidst this robust rate of growth, our capital position also remained strong, at 8.45% of assets. As a well-capitalized credit union, with shares and deposits insured through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), we remain poised to serve your needs now and in the future.
Blue also drew on its deep roots and core principles to inform a mission-focused approach throughout the year. In 2024, this resulted in more than $560 million in new loans that enabled so many members to reach their dreams. Through sound financial management, total revenue grew by more than 27%, and this additional income was returned to members in the form of share dividends, which grew by nearly 65%. Net interest margin, a key measure of financial performance, increased during the year from 3.02% to 3.58%. Though loan losses increased in 2024, impacting bottom-line income, Blue prudently added almost $11 million net to its credit loss reserve, a proactive measure to ensure our cooperative is best positioned to continue its mission at the highest level.
Built on a legacy of more than seven decades of financial strength and stability, and with a renewed commitment in 2024, Blue looks forward to sharing in your success in 2025 and beyond. We remain focused on strengthening our financial position for the benefit of our more than 140,000 members.

Financial Statements Your Supervisory Committee Report
Blue Federal Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee consists of five member volunteers, appointed by the Board of Directors, and is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the Credit Union is operating in a safe and sound manner.
This responsibility is accomplished in two ways. First, by engaging with an external independent auditing firm to ensure the accuracy of Blue Federal Credit Union’s financial statements and member accounts. Second, by working with the Internal Audit Department to provide oversight of internal control systems and assurance to the Board of Directors and our fellow members that appropriate controls are in place.
It is the opinion of the Supervisory Committee that Blue Federal Credit Union has met required financial reporting objectives and continues to operate in a safe and sound manner.
Correspondence can be addressed to: Supervisory Committee P.O. Box 20672 Cheyenne, WY 82003
On behalf of the Supervisory Committee and all of Blue Federal Credit Union, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you and our communities.

...I feel as though I haven’t taken the time to properly thank everyone at Blue FCU for the amazing partnership you have provided thus far! From our first meeting when you provided me with my portfolio that included information about banking at Blue and specifics on our Employee Discount, to the handouts you had made for us to distribute at our New Hire Orientation, to the Financial Literacy Seminars that you have hosted (and will continue to host), to attending our Benefits Fairs – you have really gone above and beyond.
I appreciate that your team has made this partnership so easy. I know our employees appreciate it and I feel as though I have not had to lift a finger to be able to provide them with great banking benefits thanks to everything that you and your team have done. We greatly value being partners of Blue!
