2. Find some time when you won’t be interrupted and take a pen and piece of paper, sit down, and close your eyes. 3. Imagine yourself back at the time your relationship took a wrong turn and let the movie of your life play out from that point. Watch what your partner does. Look at what you do. 4. Whenever you come to something in the movie where you feel uncomfortable, open your eyes and jot down a few notes. 5. Return to the movie and keep going until you hit another difficult moment. Write down the details. 6. Watch the movie until you reach the present day. 7. Look over your notes and review them. What new information have you learned? What would you like to change? 8. Discuss your findings with your partner.
