AUBERGINE, LAVENDER AND EMERALD

Ombre purple popped against cream and emerald green in the new event space at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.

Since the bride loves the regal elegance of purple, she chose aubergine as the focal color for her wedding. In the reception space, olive branches were placed in tall glass vases that were set upon long farm tables, while smaller fl oral arrangements in various shades of purple and cream were scattered throughout providing depth and color. The table design was continued onto the walls of the event space with textured projections by Ormonde Productions. “The New Bedford Whaling Museum offers such a unique setting. The reception took place in the venue’s new addition overlooking the harbor. The views from the two decks were spectacular— it was the icing on the cake!” exclaimed the mother of the bride and event planner, Kathy Sheridan.
