ransforming spaces is what Janie Haas of Janie Haas Event Consulting does best, so when she was asked to create a fun dance party vibe at the EpiCenter for Arianna’s Bat Mitzvah she focused on the things she knows will wow the crowd – big color, dramatic lighting and lots of it! “We wanted to capitalize on the cool, contemporary open feeling of the EpiCenter,” explained Haas, “a city scape was projected on the walls by DesignLight that made guests feel like they were in the heart of Boston while colorful neon Slinkys® hung from the ceiling, giving the space a playful, kinetic energy.” Lounge areas from Art of the Event were set up throughout the room so guests could hang out, and long high top tables from Peterson Party Center offered additional space to relax and enjoy a bite to eat. Mobile stations featured cuisine from MAX Ultimate Food – perfect for the Mitzvah girl and her friends after they worked up an appetite on the dance floor.
