Whole school celebrations

In late January 2023 we celebrated the Lunar New Year; the Year of the Rabbit. Celebrations and activities were held throughout the primary and secondary schools as we welcomed back the ever-popular Lion Dance after the COVID hiatus. The PTA provided dumpling-making sessions and children were able to sample the delights of Chinese cuisine. We had art and craft exhibitions, calligraphy workshops, performances of songs in Chinese and a wonderful assembly in primary school featuring songs, dances and gymnastics. There was also a jiàn zi competition and the primary and secondary foyers were bedecked with Chinese lanterns and other decorations.
