The Design and Technology department has had an exceptional year! Mr Man and Mr Craigen want to extend their gratitude to all their students for their inspiration, participation and creativity to produce remarkable projects in both the workshop and the STEAM robotics. We eagerly await next year as it promises to be equally inspiring and fun!

Year 7 students have been designing a shoe horn, light box and litter picker using laser cutting and soldering techniques. Students are also decorating their designs using a range of finishing techniques and processes

The Year 8 students have been acquiring the skill to utilise a variety of resources and materials, including acrylic, wood and metals, to accomplish a diverse set of assignments, such as an acrylic desk organiser, cam mechanism billboard, and a jewellery storage box made through laser cutting.

Throughout their Bluetooth and shoe projects, Year 9 students have been acquiring various graphical and modelling skills. They have been prompted to customise their designs to cater to a specific target market
