Messages from the Administration

I would like to express my delight and appreciation for your cooperation and support of the school’s success through the years.

The school has retained, and improved the high quality of the curriculum, staff, and facilities to ensure the students’ excellence in all fields, i.e. knowledge, skill, health, well-being, etc. I sincerely thank all teachers, staff, assistants, students, and parents for being a part of the school’s progress.

The school continues to invest in its facilities and aims to be a truly outstanding International School. During last year, we have improved and renovated the infrastructure, classrooms, refectory, boarding houses and learning equipment, to assure that the school can fully support students to achieve their best ability in academic learning, activities, and personal progress.

In the years further, I am confident that our hardworking, excellent staff and students, along with great support from parents will take the school further continuously growing in quality and in service.

Wishing everyone happiness and great success!

Viponchai School Director

As another school year comes to a close, I want to express my gratitude for the hard work and dedication of everyone in our community. Despite the challenges we have faced, we have persevered and thrived, and I am proud of all that we have accomplished together.

This year, we were able to resume full operations without disruption due to Covid-19, which allowed our students to fully participate in a wide range of activities both inside and outside of school. From sports and music to drama and community service, our students have had countless opportunities to explore their interests and develop new skills.

I am grateful for the enthusiasm and commitment of our students to learning, and I am proud of the progress they have made in their academic and personal pursuits. Our staff has played a crucial role in supporting our students’ growth and development, and I want to thank them for their tireless efforts and dedication.

I also want to express my appreciation to our families for their unwavering support and involvement in our school community. Your partnership and engagement are vital to the success of our school, and we appreciate the trust you have placed in us to provide your children with a first-class education.

As we say goodbye to another school year, let us take with us the memories, lessons, and friendships we have made, and look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. Thank you for being a part of the British International School Phuket community, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.

Kenneth Page Principal, Primary School

It has been a wonderful year in the Primary school at BISP, one in which we seem to have returned to the vibrant, dynamic and very busy school so full of opportunities for those willing to grasp them. The daily experience of enthusiastic, friendly and positive learning has been enhanced by a diverse series of special events including the celebration of cultural festivals (Wai Kru, Loy Krathong, Halloween, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Songkran. . . ), sports events (Sports Days, cross country, Soccer 7s. . . ) and arts events (weekly musical concerts, ‘Lights, Camel Action!’, Theatre Week . . .), Add in other elements such as Book Week, Thai cultural trips and residential trips - phew! All this and more is reflected in the pages to come.

Fundamentally I think a good school is a community, built on positive relationships between staff, students and parents. We have a wonderful, hard-working school staff, with whom it has been my privilege to work. Add to this our tremendously cheerful, kind and friendly children and their supportive parents and the firm bedrock of our community becomes apparent.

Like a number of you, this will be my last year at BISP as I retire back to the UK. I go with many fond memories, some of which will no doubt be triggered by images in this book. I hope that will be the same for all those others leaving at this time, and I wish you all every success wherever your future lies. For those who are staying, as well as those who will be joining our community next year, good luck and keep building those memories in an atmosphere of respect, compassion and integrity.
