Messages from the Underclassmen

I've never laughed or enjoyed spending time with a group of guys more than this senior class. Love you all and look forward to what the future holds. Ya Velcome John Moltz. ~Sean Keys

Seniors, thank you guys for always being great teammates, but more importantly, great friends. I will always remember the success and memories we had together. I am very grateful to call you guys some of my closest friends. I wish you guys nothing but the best in your future endeavors and you know who to call if you need a dental procedure done. Love you boys. ~Brady Swenson (Doc)

Thank you boys for the past 3 years. You guys welcomed us into the program (with a handshake line) and showed us the way. I will forever cherish all the times we stepped on the field together and the nights in the mods and gateways. I am excited to see what all you guys accomplish. Much Love! - Karpo

Corson- Cors, you were probably one of the closest things to a brother I had on the team. Through thick and thin, you gave me your honesty and support. After long days at the field, where I thought I had no chance at seeing the field, you always found a way to bring a positive aspect at the end of the day. You were someone that I could joke around with but also someone I could use as a crutch through tough times. You took me under your wing and I couldn't have asked for someone better to help me out. You taught me balance on and off the field, learning to move on after a long day, and to appreciate the small things... and maybe a thing or two about U.S. history. Although the times we had were short lived, I will remember some of those days and nights for the rest of my life. From sep and high tee to mixers with the field hockey team and die in the backyard. I better see your ass down in Harrisburg so I can show you how to golf. Love you brother, this is just the start. ~The real Doc.

Voytovich- Grant, just wanted to wish you the best of luck with everything going forward and am excited to follow your journey. Thank you for the sacrifices you put into this team, it was a pleasure being able to play with you. ~Andrew Swenson

Sinins- Sinins, best of luck going forward brotha. Thank you for everything this past year, I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for you! ~Andrew Swenson

Patel- Nikhil, thank you for all the mixers and for being someone that brought the whole team together. Those nights will be some of the best nights of my life. Thank you for everything you did for the team this past year. Best of luck with the new job in Philly, love you dude. ~Andrew Swenson

Adamo- Adamo, you are the man. I see a lot of yourself in me and you are someone I truly look up to. I love the way you go about things and how you treat people. You were a great captain and I look to hopefully lead the same way you did this season. You were a guy that I could always look to if I ever needed anything and someone that I could consult regarding any issues whatsoever. I wish you nothing but the best my friend and hopefully get to catch up again soon. Love you brotha. ~Andrew Swenson

Vucovich- Admiral Vuch, thank you for everything this season. Bright future ahead of you, best of luck going forward. ~Andrew Swenson

Reimer- For the times I got to spend with you, I had a great time man. Best of luck in the future. ~Andrew Swenson

Carroll- BROTHAAA... You're a great dude and I don't think people tell you that enough. One of the most level-headed and intelligent individuals I have ever met. Thank you for being the man this season on the bump. Best of luck on future endeavors. ~Andrew Swenson

Messages from the Underclassmen

Dear Seniors, Thank you all very much for being exceptional role models and leaders for us freshman and the whole team. We cherish every moment we have spent together and we would not have had such an amazing first year here without you guys. You were all extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home immediately. We will all miss you, but we know you will all do great things and we can’t wait to watch you succeed and come back to campus in the future. I will never forget the fires we had and all the countless hours we spend hanging out together at the house. You have set an amazing example for us on what we should strive to be when we are seniors. You are all amazing people and we can’t thank you enough for all you have done for us and we can’t wait to watch you succeed in the future. ~Dante Pavone

Dear Seniors, To the seniors, thank you for being great mentors to the freshman and myself personally. I have learned many things from you in different ways from different seniors. You are all unique and special in your own ways and each made a great impact on me more than you know. They are great role models to the freshman, and made coming into school an easy transition. The relationship that we created with the seniors was like having an older brother and we are all very grateful to have them. I wish the best of luck to all the seniors after college and we will all miss you!

Three years of endless memories. We spent endless amounts of time together on and off the field. I couldn’t ask for a better group of guys to be by my side. Thank you and I know big things await each and every one of you. ~Nick Mulvey

Seniors - I just wanted to say thank you all for the past 3 years. I will forever cherish the laughs and memories that we have been able to make together. You guys have been nothing but great teammates and friends. Thank you for looking out for me and the rest of the guys on this team. I will forever be grateful for you men. Best of luck in the real world! Brotha get a haircut. ~BK (Billy Kender)

Seniors, Thank you for our great times together. I have loved every second of the last three years with you guys. It has been a roller coaster of a year and you guys have never strayed away from leading us ahead. I know how much you care about this team, and I want you to know that it does not go unnoticed. Looking back, the baseball field has only been a piece to our relationships that will last a lifetime. I have managed to spend summers, long weekends, and baseball games with you guys, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. The simple things of hanging in the backyard and bus rides are what make every hard-fought game worth it. I look forward to keeping in touch with you guys after Bucknell. You are a special group that hold a special place in my heart. Whatever you guys need, don’t hesitate to reach out. Good luck boys! ~Tyler Dunn

You guys are some of my best friends and I’m glad I was able to get to know you all so well. Thank you for being my brothers on and off the field. I wish all of you the best of luck and know you will all accomplish big things. ~- TO

Message to Parents: Mom and Dad, thank you so much for doing whatever you could to get me to practices and workouts. Thank you for pushing me to succeed in everything I do and supporting me through all the ups and downs. I love you.

Message to Underclassmen: : Boys, I can’t imagine going through life these past few years with anyone else. The love I have for each and every one of you cannot be measured. You guys are my best friends and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for you guys.

Nicolas, as young as two and a half we knew you had a love for the game. When we would travel, a bat, glove and ball where the first things you would pack. You would wait for your brother to come home so he could pitch, or play catch with you. I will never forgot, one early summer night when you were 4, hearing a ding of the bat and ball and I looked out only to see you hit off the tee.

Your passion for the game has afforded you so many opportunities, and we could not be more proud of you and where it has taken you. We are so excited to see what the future holds for you. Thank you for taking us all on this incredible journey with you. Onto the next adventure!

Message to Parents: Thank you for supporting me through everything on and off the field. I know I couldn't be where I am right now without you both.

Message to Underclassmen: Live the life. Days are long; years are short.

Dear Graeme,

s hard to believe that your college baseball days are coming to a close. Bucknell has been such a positive experience for you. You’ve gotten a great education, played baseball at a high level, received tremendous leadership from your coaches, and made lifelong friends in your teammates and their families. What more could one ask for?

As you said several years ago, “This game is much more than just a game; it’s a metaphor for life. Failure is inevitable, and it’s more than just your response to it, it’s your actions that determine what happens next. Resilient, in a word, that’s what baseball is.”

We have thoroughly enjoyed following your baseball career from your tee ball days to today. We have so many fond memories of your playing days. We wish you much success as you complete this chapter of your life and begin the next. We look forward to seeing how your future unfolds. We are so proud of the young man you have become, both on and off the field. To say we are truly blessed is an understatement.

“Baseball is 90% mental. The other half is physical.

Message to Underclassmen: Seems like just yesterday I was a freshman getting ready for our first fall intersquad. Hard to believe that this is my last semester at Bucknell. It goes by fast so enjoy the moment. You won't remember striking out and the errors you make, but you will remember the legendary mafia games, the bonfires at the house, and caf sits. Enjoy everything because before you know it, you will be writing your message to the underclassmen too! FO6
