Healthy & Sustainable Homes: Building with Hempcrete

Traditionally built homes are hard on the environment and bad for our health, but they don’t have to be. Hemprete homes are built utilizing the byproduct of a superfood, do not contain harmful chemicals like VOCs, and they perform better than our traditionally built homes in the process! This building concept has been proven out and refined over decades in other parts of the world, but is just now becoming accessible to Americans. This hands-on class will help you learn the potential of this alternative building method to our community and allow you the opportunity to try it (on a small scale) for yourself! A supply fee of $10 is payable at the time of class registration.
