TRAILBLAZERS AND TRENDSETTERS The Bismarck-Mandan Symphony's 2020/2021 season, "Trailblazers and Trendsetters" officially begins on Saturday, September 19 at the Belle Mehus Auditorium, 7:30pm. The orchestra will present "A Concert of Hope," featuring powerful, familiar music as well as mainstays of the classical repertoire. Featured artist is internationally acclaimed violist Brett Deubner. PICKLEBALL Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. It combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong and can be played indoors or outdoors on a modified tennis court. HARMON LAKE Located only eight miles north of Mandan, Harmon Lake is a wonderful daytrip destination. If you are looking to relax, there are two sandy beaches along the water perfect for sunbathing. Activities besides swimming include fishing, kayaking, and canoeing.
