The Conference is open to all in the industry but since the theme is so important for installers a special offer is available for iKBBI members only - the ‘Day Only Delegate’ rate has been reduced by a massive 40%. iKBBI members can enjoy the day’s presentations and discussions, all morning and afternoon refreshments, lunch, networking, and entry to the conference exhibition all for just £99 plus VAT. Use the Booking form here: www.bathroom-association.org.uk/ images/editor/Conference_2016/ Members_Booking_Form.pdf and mention your iKBBI membership number in the Job Title box. THE DATE
Tuesday 4 October 2016 is the main conference day, and as in previous years will include presentations and speeches, open forum sessions, the exhibition and, in the evening, the Gala Dinner and BMA Media Awards.
The day before, Monday 3 October 2016, is reserved for the fringe activities which will include the Annual Charity Golf Tournament (raising much needed funds for The Children’s Burns Trust), Technical and Marketing Seminars, the BMA’s General Council meeting and the annual networking dinner which is a relaxed and informal affair, always enjoyed by the industry.

THE VENUE
This year, the conference moves to the Belfry Hotel and Resort, Sutton Coldfield. It is easily accessible and large enough to accommodate the 200+ delegates and the various activities.
THE THEME
Towards the Circular Economy is the theme of the conference. As in previous years, delegates will be encouraged to look outside of their usual comfort zones and absorb new ideas. This year's conference will investigate how enterprises that are not usually associated with bathrooms and kitchens, wrestle with the corporate, social and economic consequences of cradle-to-cradle manufacturing, marketing and selling, whilst meeting customer needs.
Repair, recycling and re-use will be top of the agenda since the EU is pushing hard to make landfill a thing of the past. It may surprise some to learn that the EU has already set 2030 as the deadline beyond which no more than 10% of all waste can go into landfill. The use of secondary raw materials, and sustainable product design, manufacturing and marketing are all set to be affected by possible new regulations. Installers will be particularly affected by the new regs. How will it affect them? Where will they be able to dispose of used bathroom equipment? What will be the costs involved? This conference will help answer some of those unknowns.

THE LINE UP
An outstanding panel of speakers, who are both knowledgeable and entertaining, is being lined up. They will present their view of the burgeoning Circular Economy.
Sophie Long - host
Sophie is the facilitator and host for the Conference. She is one of the main presenters on the BBC News Channel and the 8pm Summary on BBC1.
