iKBBI MEMBERS PROVE TO BE A MODERN DAY CRYSTAL BALL

Forget Ipsus Mori, forget Gallup, forget YouGov, you can even forget Mystic Meg! When it comes to gauging and predicting political elections and referendums no one comes near to our iKBBI member installers!

Political commentators and observers completely called the general election wrong a year or so ago by predicting a hung parliament despite the fact that Ed Milliband was the leader of the Labour party! They were astounded when the Tories won with a clear majority. Not so our readers who forecast a clear win for the conservatives at 41% Tory, UKIP 19%, Labour 10% with 20% either undecided or not planning to vote at the time of the poll.

Now you’ve done it again! In the Spring issue of The Installer magazine we published the results of another iKBBI poll, this time for the EU referendum, which produced a result of 65% in favour of leave with 25% remain and 10% weren’t sure at the time of asking!

Maybe the next time a major vote is due, Sky News or the BBC should contact the iKBBI for an accurate barometer on how the result may eventually materialise. On a personal note, can you guys predict the result of the 3.30pm race at Newmarket on Saturday please? ☺
