Laura Fitton Laura Fitton, one of our inspirational nurses, authored a book of poetry whilst off sick with Covid-19. Garnering esteemed success, Laura’s book was sold in order to raise funds for our charity. Laura’s poems cover a range of difficult subjects and emotions but radiate hope and a strong spirit throughout – we’re so proud of what she has achieved.

At the beginning of the pandemic, the Booking Team worked tirelessly to contact thousands of patients about their outpatient appointments. Many patients were upset, confused and scared but the team offered reassurance to them all and supported each other through this huge task.
Michael Leng Head Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology for the Trust, Michael Leng has worked tirelessly throughout 2020 and spearheaded the timely introduction of new molecular Real-Time PCR testing equipment and methodologies essential to diagnosis of Covid-19.
