The first patient is admitted to Doncaster Royal Infirmary requiring treatment for Covid-19

23 March 2020

The UK enters an official lockdown requiring people to stay at home and non-essential businesses to close

15 April 2020 DBTH receives new equipment to increase our Covid testing capacity

19 March 2020 The Trust paused routine appointments and began stepping down elective procedures where possible.

23 March 2020 With heavy hearts, we confirmed that a patient had passed away at Doncaster Royal Infirmary from Covid-19

25 March 2020 We were deeply saddened to share the news that a patient had passed away at Bassetlaw Hospital from Covid-19

12th October 2020

Both Doncaster and Bassetlaw are placed in Tier 2 of the three tier restriction system

25th October 2020

In these 24 hours we saw the highest number of patients admitted in a single day

1st November 2020

the height of the second wave brought new challenges as the numbers of people being treated for Covid at our hospitals rose to 220

13 December 2020

DBTH begins to care for its 2,000th patient with Covid-19
