Subject: Proposal to impart the best Robotics and Coding education in line with NEP to students of your esteemed school. Objective:
-
The New Education Policy (NEP) calls for democratization of Robotics & Coding for our school students to make them future-ready. The Need: Since the dot-com bubble burst back in 2000, technology has radically transformed our societies and our daily lives. Technology has changed major sectors over the past 20 years, including manufacturing, technology, media, climate action, food, healthcare & education. It has become the second brain of most human beings. According to a report by the Mckinsey - Upto 60% percent of occupations could be automated, implying substantial workplace transformations and changes for all workers. By the year 2030, up to 375 million people may lose jobs or may need to switch occupational categories and learn new skills. Machines have reduced the human count in most industries. However, The World Economic forum says that technological advancement will also create 58 million new jobs - but all in the field of technology! Realizing this, most developed nations have inculcated Robotics and coding in their curriculum which forms the core of every modern-day technology. Even the New Educational Policy (NEP) has emphasis on Vocational courses like Robotics & Coding for school going kids to fulfill the growing need for skilled manpower across sectors and narrow the existing gap between the demand and supply of skills. For India to be at par with other nations in the next 10 years, it’s important to bring the change in the kids today who are going to be the leaders of tomorrow.
