A principal mudança nos procedimentos de Controle Interno na Justiça Federal da Bahia, apontada pelo diretor daquele núcleo, seria a criação de uma Seção de Auditoria, com ao intuito de um melhor planejamento das verificações in loco dos controles efetuados no órgão.
Externamente, no desempenho da função de auxiliar do Tribunal de Contas da União, cabe ao Controle Interno informar à Corte de Contas eventuais irregularidades observadas no relatório de auditoria de gestão - peça integrante do processo de tomada de contas (prestação de contas) - a ser julgado, inicialmente, pelo Conselho da Justiça Federal e, posteriormente, pelo TCU.
Diante do exposto, fica evidente que o trabalho realizado foi bastante enriquecedor para os estudantes do curso de Ciências Contábeis que têm interesse na área pública, além de contribuir com papel social de cidadão e participação popular na transparência da administração pública. Tais práticas poderão provocar a diminuição do risco de falhas e erros, bem como estimular a máxima eficiência na realização de tarefas. A grande importância do Controle Interno e Externo é exatamente estar muito próximo da realidade do órgão público.
The importance of internal control at Bahia Federal Justice
Abstract Internal Control has, as a main feature, to be composed through a well structured and active system which relates to the surveillance of administration acts. This control, at the Justiça Federal the Bahia, aims the supply of information, reports and demonstrations, which provide the shortening of failure risks and/or irregularities that may stain the objectives and goals of the administration. Furthermore, it helps the performance of functions carried on by the External Control, in conformity to what the Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal determines. Such controls, when applied to the public administration, translate as a set of actions which must be put into practical use, respectively, by the Federal Justice in Bahia and by the Union's Account Court. The objective is to execute and monitor the accomplishment of the projected goals in the plans and execution of programs and budgets, as well as the evaluation of the public management's result.
