When you step into Bay Harbor Yacht Club, you’ll immediately feel like you simply belong here. Our club is a place to unwind and enjoy life.
THERE ARE SOME PLACES THAT, ONCE VISITED REMAIN IN YOUR MIND’S EYE – AND IN YOUR HEART FOREVER.
For nearly 30 years, Bay Harbor Yacht Club has boasted a rich history of bringing families and lifelong friends together. It’s not just a place for dining and cocktails, but a place to relax, meet, to work out and to connect.
There is an ease and familiarity that comes from BHYC being a smaller club with a close-knit community. Yes, the scenery is spectacular, but it’s the members who make the club truly special. There is a true camaraderie here and joining the club or purchasing a home within the Bay Harbor community opens the door to an elegant lifestyle with no pretention. Neighbors are friendly, club members are social, and the wide variety of amenities support members in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle during northern Michigan’s four seasons.
Since its beginning, Bay Harbor Yacht Club has served as the social center of the community for boaters and non-boaters alike and has been committed to providing its members, and their families and guests, a superlative private club experience through outstanding amenities and unmatched service. Through its dedication to continue building on perfection, in 2020 the Club embarked on an expansive project to refurbish and renovate the entire Club and added worldclass amenities and premier services. With an investment over $13.5 million, the Club now proudly features a contemporary modern design, enhancing the already magnificent setting. Bay Harbor Yacht Club has prioritized community and wellness throughout each renovation and expansion project and has thoughtfully curated an environment comfortable and welcoming for members to gather for years to come.
Bay Harbor Yacht Club has proudly been honored with two of the private club industry’s most prestigious awards: the Platinum Clubs of America designation and the Distinguished Clubs Elite status. These coveted recognitions place BHYC among the top 1% of private clubs in the country. These accolades celebrate the club’s exceptional facilities, world-class amenities, and unwavering commitment to providing an unparalleled experience for its members.
