Located on the site of an 800 year old castle the pupils enjoy a huge range of activities to encourage independence, resilience, teamwork and self-confidence. They will enjoy abseiling, archery, canoeing and team building games whilst making happy memories with their friends in the most magical of settings.
Year 5
Canoe Trail Residential Trip
Annual: 6th-7th June 2024

Embracing the outdoors and setting off on an adventure this bespoke trip is designed so that the pupils canoe along the river to reach their woodside base camp. Accompanied by instructors the students enjoy a unique journey before arriving at their camp and enjoying bush craft activities which develop key skills and encourage them to step out of their comfort zones. A highlight of their time in the Junior School this trip is not to be missed!
Year 4
The Grafham Water Centre, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

It is hoped that all girls will take up this opportunity whilst in Year 4. This is an actionpacked residential adventure. The pupils have the opportunity to try archery, sailing, kayaking, climbing, den building and orienteering in small supportive groups. They develop independence and resilience, whilst challenging themselves to be risk-takers.
Year 6
Preston Montford, Shrewsbury

Preston Montford is a Field Studies Centre set in 14 hectares of grassland and woodlands by the River Seven. The three day, two night trip will include a wide range of activities to encourage the pupils’ independence and develop their geographical skills and environmental awareness. Sessions will include geometry and orienteering; study of rivers and ponds, eco-action and campfires.
