To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City is committed to providing a world-class Club Experience that ensures every young person who walks through our doors has access to opportunity, exploration, and support.
lled with immense pride and gratitude for the remarkable achievements of the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. This year has been a testament to our unwavering commitment to empowering the youth of our community and fostering brighter futures.
This year, we have continued our mission of inspiring young people—especially those who need us most—to reach their full potential as healthy, responsible, and productive citizens. Through our programs, mentorship, and community support, we have provided safe, enriching spaces for Atlantic City’s youth to learn, grow, and prepare for successful futures. We are committed to maintaining a secure environment through rigorous safety protocols, including mandatory background checks for all staff and volunteers, comprehensive safety training, and state licensing compliance. These ongoing investments in safety reflect our dedication to creating a space where young people can learn, grow, and thrive with confidence.
In 2024, we made significant strides in expanding our youth workforce development initiatives. A major milestone was securing a $1.2 million grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), championed by Senator Vincent J. Polistina. This investment is critical in advancing resiliency and workforce development programs, ensuring our youth are equipped with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in the evolving job market.
Our financial health remains strong, with revenues of $3.5 million supporting vital programming and services. Thanks to our amazing partners, we continue to expand opportunities for Atlantic City’s youth, ensuring they have the resources to reach their full potential.
As we move forward, our focus remains on expanding opportunities for Atlantic City’s youth through education, workforce development, and community engagement. The investments made in 2024 position us to continue innovating, growing, and ensuring that every young person who walks through our doors has access to the support and resources needed to build a bright future.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, supporters, and the entire Atlantic City community. Together, we are shaping the next generation of leaders and changemakers.,
As Board Chair of the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City, it is my privilege to share with you our annual report. Each and every year our Club provides services that many of us take for granted, such as daily meals, physical and mental health screening, and a safe and supportive environment for the youth of our city. If that was all we did, we could sleep at night knowing we were making a difference in the lives of our young people. However, our organization does so much more. We provide opportunities for Club kids to learn robotics in our STEAM labs, earn employable certifications ranging from food service safety to healthcare, participate in crew and golf programs, receive tutoring and mentoring, and enjoy good, old-fashioned recreation in our newly renovated Evolution arena. Together, we have worked tirelessly to provide essential resources, academic support, and leadership development to the youth of Atlantic City that will enable them to dream bigger dreams and tools with which to realize those dreams.
The accomplishments detailed in this report reflect the potential of our members, the dedication of our staff, and the generosity of our donors and partners. We are inspired by the potential that lies within each child who walks through our doors. We look forward to continuing to advocate for their needs.

Recognizing this alarming reality, the Michael Phelps Foundation partnered with BGCAC to provide 50 young members with an 8-week swimming program designed to overcome barriers to water safety.
Through hands-on instruction at the Brigantine Aquatic Center, participants not only learned to swim confidently but also developed lifelong safety skills, making them more prepared and resilient in aquatic environments.
